legacy account to jagex account can it be recovered?

Hello i am wondering if i buy legacy account and turn it into a jagex account myself can it still be recovered by the OO even if i transform the account into a jagex account thanks.

 

Yes. Making it a jagex account does not make it where it can not be recovered. Jagex accounts can be recovered using the jagex support ticket system. In my opinion leaving it legacy is better cause you at least get the email telling you you submitted a request that you forgot your password when they recover. Allowing you at least some time to remove wealth. With jagex accounts it all done in tickets with jagex and they do not give any notifications to you until you log in and see your jagex account is disabled.

 

Ahh ok, so if i get a legacy account and put my email onto the account, if someone tries to recover it ill get a heads up via my email? or do i need the original email for that? thanks g

 

If you keep it legacy yes 90% of the time you get an email that says password change request. And if you didn't ask for it it's a sign someone is submitting a recovery form for it.
