Why is this game so bad now

I only run bots on this game now but i dont get how anyone can actaully play this game anymore. Its nothing like the old days and PKing isnt even fun anymore. 08 prods everywhere

 

It's not really that the game is inherently bad, but rather that it just gets boring.

The Runescape community has always complained.

It's simple:
If you don't like something, stay away from it.

How did you expect pking not to be fucked? All the new weapons / armor ofc it's not the same.
Nor will it ever be the same ever again. Deal with it.
They aren't going to take ags/claws/korasi/ chaotics/ nex gear out of the wild.


Also, the game is just fine other then the mass amount of bots ruining the price of raw materials.
The game just get's boring when you play it too much, when you shouldn't play it too much anyways.

I do agree that the game has taken a turn for the worst. I still play on my main, but it is not as fun as it used to be. Taking away free trade, then bring it back, bad updates, and excessive botting have all slowly deteriorated the game.

 

So true, I miss late 2004/early 2005. Those times were the beast.

 

bots have had a big influence thats why try playing ps3

 

The game changes, but old members refuse to change with it; maybe if you fought like everyone else you would not be screaming its not fare. No one cares if you miss pking with no risk, and welfare. I do not even pk, and I am sick of everyone crying about it. It gives you a warning when you step into the wilderness. Just because there is a group of 9 year olds who learned how to read it does not mean its not fair, join them.

It hasn't been the same for me since ´07 or so. The "magic" disappears as you get to know more and more of the game. It's the amount of new things that attract you. That's for me atleast.

 

I just hate all the rushers. I don't pk because I'll get rushed in like a second. You pretty much don't stand a chance unless you have a godsword, claws, or a chaotic.

Lol? I was looking for discussion from some old school players who actually played this game when it was good. Looks like youre not one of them.

 

The OP kind of pointed out one of the problems.

One of the things that makes online multiplayer games fun is that you get to interact with a lot of nice/fun people(and of course the occasional 'interesting' person) that you can enjoy the game with. How exactly do you expect to have fun in a game like this if the majority of 'players' around you are mindless programs that you can't have a nice chat with/interact with?

 

The community blows, the game is overran by bots, Jagex is the dumbest company with their retarded ass updates, and well, RS is really just not a fun game.

 

ya pking use to be the only fun thing in runescape but know i cant even go out there without getting pjed or getting attacked by itemers

 

ehh its just different, if we kept it the same as like in 2004-2006 then they would lose too many players to games like COD and WOW
