How does Phish Links work?

Just wonder some guy on sythe just sent to me and a few other people. I clicked it on accident and it was a fake sythe site.

 

Basically they keep a log of everything you enter in the forms. I often get runescape phishers who link you to a fake Runescape page. As soon as you enter your information, the information will be sent to the person and they will most likely hack your account.

Simply clicking it won't do anything though.

 

Thank you as a new member i was wondering also. Was pretty sure but i still just never click anything that will direct me to rs(or other sensitive sites). Just open a tab and typing the real site in yourself is faster and safer, and even if you have to search just safer.

 

Dont ever click on a suspicious link because some links will give you a keylogger by simply clicking on the link.

 

and they always try to make the link itself, not just the site, look right.

for ex, today one made the you you could see
services.runescape.com/....
and the actual link went to
******************.com/....

phishing sites want you to log in, but all it does is give the phisher your password.

I myself like opening the site in a proxy and entering in
uname: UPYURS
Pword: ASSHOLE
on these XD
