Gold Farming.

I'm gonna buy 2 VPS packages and i will bot 2 accounts on each VPS for 12 hours and then put other 4 accounts to bot 12 hours. So i have 8 accounts each will bot 12 hours a day. I will be mining pure essense.

Is this a good idea?

 

Seeing as I'm not sure of the GP/hr rates for pure ess, idk.
But as long as it is making 200k/hr, that's 4bots @ 200k = 800k/hr.

So every 24h you are making 19200000gp.

Nearly 20M every day, and you are swapping accounts so there is less chance of getting banned.

8 accounts * 12 hours/day * 100k/hr = 9.6m per day

Doing this for a full month (30 days) would make around 288m. If you sell this at $0.50/mil, that would bring in $140 each month. (This will fluctuate based on how much you can sell your gold for, but getting more than $0.50/mil will be difficult without a lot of trust built up)

This is the very best case scenario, in which you assume 100% uptime for your bots, which won't be possible due to game updates and possible bans. So, I would estimate that if you stay on top of your bots and keep them up and running as much as possible, you could probably bring in about $130-$135 from gold sales.

Membership will cost you around $40/month for 8 accounts, so that brings you down to around $90-$95 profit. Then add in the cost for two vps packages, and what's left after that will be your overall profit.

For me, this would be too much of a hassle for the amount of money it would bring in.

nice math ' when i first read this i never took it into concideration... to much of a hassle as stated above, and with ur genious mind... botting 8 accnts... isnt tht alittle greedy now? that is how the runescape economy gets wrecked... rune ess prices r lowering more and more so i doubt its worth it tbh. i say.. dung with the accnts on teams of 4 and 4 to even out the exp.. 85 in no time, to ither sell here or bot frost. thats just my opinoin

 

To lower the ban rate. I use 4 accounts in 12 hours and the other 4 in next 12 hours.

If you want to make real money just run frost dragons on your own computer

Just run frost dragons? Are you kidding? I GUARANTEE I make more money than your frost dragon bot, on my VPS. No, I don't mine pure ess though.

It is VERY VERY unlikely that someone has more than 2 accounts (and even 1) that can even do frost dragons, and a lot of people don't have the computer to run more than 2 bots.

On top of that, is there even a premium frost dragon script? I don't believe there is, I think the only one is on RSBuddy. I, personally, would NEVER trust RSBuddy bots to run continuously without babysitting them.

VPS' are not a waste of money if you have half a brain. I have made over $500 so far in about 2 months.

The ban rate at frost dragons is increasing ALOT, I wouldn't suggest them at all.
To bring in a comfortable profit without feeling like you're wasting your time I'd suggest botting 2 staking accounts and 6 other accounts providing $ for staking, It'd be ALOT better in the long run. What to do on the other 6 accounts I'm not too sure of.

 

What? First of all people run like 5+ accounts at FDK lol, so yes, people have more than one. Best to gold farm with atm.

How isn't a vps waste of money? Unless your computer is horrible and cannot run more than 3 bots, rather than a vps, upgrade. The only time i see using a vps is useful is if you run mass accounts, 30+. Rather then me spending the $20 or however much on 2 accounts botting on a vps, I could save that $20 and run accounts on my own computer.

That $500 is profit i'm assuming, if you had ran it on your own computer, you could be +$50 or so, minusing electricity bills.

Fighters are the best money makers because your training your account for better monsters.

 

But i don't want to worry about where to train at this cmb lvl etc... and i would have to change spots..

 

VPS's are a waste of money. You'll be wasting money instead of earning money if you should choose to use a VPS.

Bot 4 accounts for 12 hours, the other 4 for the next 12 hours. Bot efficiently, and intelligently.

 

At 73 mining and a rune pickaxe my pure ess bot is mining about 810 ess per hour. That's 81K at today's prices. Not that good. :/

+ since they're pure ess bots and take a day to get 30+ mining I would just suicide those accounts; i've never lost money suiciding.

+ VPS are a waste for the everyday botter, as someone above me mentioned in detail.
