How do you react when people laugh at your outfit?

I get laughed at for what a wear everyday.

Jeans.
Covered in oil, sometimes rips, and dust.

Shirts, usually collared, sometimes ripped, usually got oil or grease on them

Yeah, I work on a farm, I have to put up with it. They might go and spend £30+ on a shirt, but I refuse to spend more than £5. Labels are a waste of time.

 

All I wear is abercrombie, just because you do not wear it does not mean that many people are laughing at you. I have seen that shirt before, I think people were reading it, not laughing at the fact that you were wearing it.

I don't usually get mocked for what I wear but I did once get teased for a lunch box I had when I was about 5/6.. Just felt really uncomfortable and asked Mum to get me a new one I think, but I doubt I'd re-adopt my fashion sense now. Just ignore them and be yourself! And if it's getting you too down then change your fashion sense I guess.

I don't care what people think of how I dress tbh. I mean, it's simple - you either have respect for someone's style, or you just walk away.

tbh idgaf what other people say or think we are who we want to be and no one can stop us. who are they to judge? if they are mostly followers...(wearing whats "in" or "hot" no taking into thought about how unconfortable the damn thing is or the price)

hell if i could i would dress like Mr Genesis down there in my siggy... but sadly no one knows how to make the coat... everyone on any site uses crappy material for the coat.. making it look less appealing to me anyways.

Same. I wore dress shirts, pants, and shoes to school every day for the entirety of 11th and 12th grade. I even joked with one of the teachers about not owning a pair of jeans or non-collar T-shirt.

People thought it was awkward but I didn't give. Eventually they got used to it.

Moral of the story is: You dress how you want to or feel. If others laugh at you and you feel bad or self conscious because of it, that says more about you than it does about them.

 

I have never had it happen to me, however I do not think I would really mind it. I could care less about people that do stuff like that. Because usually it is those people with the problems.

I ignore it. But yeah, there are morons who do this.

 

They don't, I don't have many articles of clothing worth laughing at.
