IP Address vs. Account Activity

I've always wanted to run multiple acc's on a computer, all of which would mine p ess which would later be xfered to my main. So I was wondering, how does Jagex keep up with your activity? Suppose I wanted to run one account for a third of the day, another account for the next third, etc. Would that be just as suspicious as running 1 account 24/7? And if I ran 5 accounts at once, would that also be suspicious? Would they be aware of that?

 

How arenwe supposed to known that? But assuming from the fact that my last account was banned in july 2010 and I had over 30 bans before that and made over 40 accounts after I assumentheyndont link them

 

I believe JaGex cannot tell how many accounts are playing when using a bot like RsBuddy or any other software. If they could, a warning would pop up saying "Too many accounts online at your address" or something of that sort.

Many people run multple accounts at once, including me; you should be safe.

This. They won't be able to notice the difference if you are botting on one or 10 guys, unless they are in the same world (in which case you'd have to multi-log), because to Jagex, that could just mean there are other people playing in your household. They all have equal amounts of getting banned. You'd be better off going 24/7 on multiple guys than switching off at certain intervals, because the second option would be similar to breaking and could bring some attention to your activity.

Using rsbot I have multilogged 10 accounts into 1 world and cut yews for 4 hours, none got banned or anything, just sayin

 

You're running multiple bots on your IP. Don't be worried if they get banned as they are the workers. You should only be worried if you have a main, mule, or master mule account that you've logged onto with the same IP address as your botting accounts.

It's difficult to know exactly how Jagex tells which accounts are registered to who on a IP Address. All they know is you could have a brother who is botting, and you're just playing legit.

 

Does each individual computer in a household have a specific IP address or does every computer in a house have the same IP address? I thought all computers were different, but every so often if I try to make an account on a website on a different computer in the house on a website I already had an account on, it will say "There's already an account linked to this IP address" or something, even though I used a different computer.
