possibly go to the source of the problem then and talk it over with nick, nobody else has suggested that
tell him why you have a problem with him etc, see what he says
if you get sort shit out with him then maybe he'll fix the problem for you

 

If you've been together so long I will assume there is a degree of trust between the two of you. Tell her that you need to talk about it, and make sure she listens. Try not to turn it into an argument.

Lay it all out clearly for her, just like you did in this thread. She needs to understand exactly what you're going through, and if she loves you, she will listen. She will understand. I have a distinct feeling that you never really discussed this in as much detail as you posted here. I apologise if I'm wrong, but taking my advice is worth a shot. Good luck my friend.

 

no, you're right. She doesn't talk about it though. She always just stays quiet and gives me one word answers if she says anything. I have to make things into a yes or no, do you understand, kind of thing, every time we try to talk seriously or I try to initiate a conversation on something like that.
