Runescape Without Bots

That would be pretty bad actually.... no thanks to hours of useless clicking

 

To me it doesn't matter. I mean I guess it would be better without bots. Even though I don't need bots to make cash

It would be like it used to be like in 05, yes there were bots but it wasn't as rampant. I miss those days, back when barrage was a rare find for pures, now you're lucky if you run into a pure who doesn't have 99 Magic.

This just proves to me you're 11, which Runescape would do a lot better if they had less of.

Either way, Runescape will always have bots. If it did not, prices would be sky high, and so many people would be incredibly poor.

 

without bots the problem would be that there would be very very high raw materials, which means getting 99 of things would also be harder, and alot more money... yes it would be nice to have way less bots but i don't see that happening in the future

 

Exactly, they aren't really needed to make cash.

If there weren't any bots at all, I really doubt that there would be many, if any, rs blackmarkets. I say that because the vast majority of people who are selling accounts(I'm talking stat/money wise), etc. got those things from botting, so without it that takes a HUGE part out of the market.

I don't bot myself, but I do have a few friends that do, all of which say the game is boring.With that in mind, how exactly are you going to determine whether or not you like a game, if you don't play it long enough for it to give you a feeling of like/dislike?

Imo, it's because of all the bots that people get in their minds that it's boring. How exactly are you suppose to chat/have fun in a game meant for a lot of people to play together if the majority of "players" around you are just mindless programs that can't 'communicate/interact' with you.

Don't get me wrong, they aren't the whole issue, imo. Another problem is skillcapes. With those added, all a lot ever want to do is grind/bot to the next one, which further takes out the 'fun' element.

Bots mean effortless training with the ever so slight chance of getting banned, or resetted as it currently stands.

If it wasnt for bots, prices would be higher, and the market wouldnt be flooded with as much GP, as there currently is; which drives the price of GP down.

 

What's interesting is how a lot of people who complain that the prices would be higher, etc and love botting...a fair amount of those people are also the ones who end up complaining that the game is too easy/boring.

 

Yes but it also decreases prices of Gp so we make less money, I stake for my money and PK so I would prefer no botting and sell Gp for $1+/M

 

I think that Jagex would lose a ton of players if there were no bots, nobody wants to play 24/7 for those levels, and they know this.

 

Botting is healthy imo, if you sit in front of your computer all day it can't be a good thing.

 

People would definitely buy more accounts to save time. And the price of everything would shoot up. Tons of people would quit. The world might ultimately come to an end.

 

It's not healthy, mainly impatience, to a degree.

You don't have to sit in front of the computer 24/7 to get levels, there is something called 'working your way up over time'.

I highly doubt videogames, etc. would sell well, if at all, if you were supposed to finish them in 5min or less and then nothing else. They're supposed to keep you occupied for a while, regardless of how much time you have to play.

They wouldn't be able to though as there would be less accounts to 'buy'. There would be less because I doubt even the most legit person would want to train 24/7 to make like 50+ accounts to sell, unless, of course, it was a passion of theirs.

 

I'd prefer them without bots because it would be much easier to make money with less effort.

Think of what chaos druids would be if there were no bots.

You could make like 500k in one trip .

 

This here is what I say.

 

If nothing was botted my lord it would make somethings very expensive. Raw materials would go up possible double in price.

Personally I wish there were no bots. I'd be a much richer person.

 

I hope there will be a mass ban when I have a high gold stock haha <3
