THere won't be a problem at all finding people to box, many many people have this set up now so take note that when you're boxing, most of the time your stats will be similar. Sometimes you get lucky anda 60 att 99 str pure boxes you, but most of the time it's just 50/50 chance.

 

If you don't find anyone to stake, I suggest getting 80/60/80

 

Here is my boxer stat theory.

I'm basing this theory as if... 1 attack has the same chance of hitting against 1 defense as 50 attack has the same chance of hitting against 50 defense. Making attack/defense counter themselves. I'm not sure if that is true but it seems like it.

I think the most valuable stat that should be raised as high as possible should be defense with two reasons.
- The first is defense doesn't level your combat level as much as strength/attack. Use a combat calculator and you'll see you can be a level 27with 99 defense at the lowest and you will be level 35 at the lowest with either 99 strength or 99 attack.
- Defense is effective versus all different boxer stats, a person with 99 attack that fights a person with 1 defense is going to be wasting levels on attack when they could be hitting just as often with 60 attack. Defense on the other hand effects everyone, somebody with 99 defense can cancel out someone with 99 attack or they can make boxing very difficult for someone with 60 attack. No wasted levels for defense.

After you get your defense high, attack is the second most valuable stat followed by strength. Strength doesn't hold much value as it only makes 10-20 damage differential usually and someone who hits 0-0-90-0-0-70-0-110-0 is going to be less successful compared to someone that hits 40-60-0-0-70-80-0-0-60. Consistent hitting over a 90+ hp period of time will be a consistent winner.

An alternative boxer that I'm experimenting with is a very high defense/hitpoint boxer with equal strength/attack. It relies on outlasting the opponent by hitting moderately high every once and a while. I can't say it more successful than a 90/80/90 type pure though.

Hope this helped, your safest bet is to run a 95/80/99 pure.
