43K Players Eliminated in 15 Minutes.

If i had taken a screenshot of before/after it'd be more to the point, i suppose.

Just had a real life "LOL" when I saw the reduced amount. These late hours are perfect for botting smartly. All the average wannabe reporters are asleep now.. : )

What's your thoughts?

Technically there are no "late hours" in runescape as it is played internationally , there my be low points of population but its never day or night.

What was the picture about, 300k people playing to 250k people playing during a ban or something, i honestly dont understand.

 

Nah. Just half an hour ago the total sum of players online was 208K, than was reduced down to 165K or so. It was just a shock to see that many reduced : ) It's been awhile for an old vet like myself to see 208K players online.

yeah i used to play when 100k were online was considered a lot but nowadays alot is 200+.

jagex needs to introduce ~30 more worlds imo.

also there are never safe times to bot always noobs report and random events however in saying that i 24/7 dung and bot in remote areas so hardly get caught so meh

was there a mass ban, is there anything we should be worried about

 

^This. Any player has the potential of reporting you. To be completely safe you will have to babysit the bot or otherwise put up with the risk.

There wasn't a mass ban that i'm aware of. It's a possibility, although not likely.

Had me worried for a second lol. But If your willing to bot, suffer the consequences if you get banned.

Doubt it was a mass ban, just a lot of people logged off at the same time lol, usually Jagex doesn't do mass bans, they're more prone to individual cases/resets

I live in the UK. Who are these ''sleeping'' people you speak of? I assume the Americans since you posted this at 6am GMT. But I agree that there are better times to bot but only to an extent.

I always bot in European worlds during the night, obviously because the timezone is closer to mine, and so they have less people in them. People tend to pick worlds based in servers around where they live because the connection tends to be stronger.

 

I love when runescape updates, you can truly see the amount of bots. After everyone logged back in from update it went from like 250k and stayed at 180k for a while. And those are just the ones that don't have auto-logs enabled...
