i log in into message centre, no new messages, im like wtf?

then log in runescape again (regular client, not bot client) and it says re: your jagex acc

im like oh shit, here comes ban hammer. 1 year ban im pissed

expires may 21st 2012 (almost 1 year)

and i wuz jus about to max acc, had 99range 97 str 88mage 1 def 93hp

im pissed as hell atm

and i think the guy in world 9 chao druids that bots there 24/7 reported me since i keep taking his chao druids

it's not when the BAN expires...its when the blackmark expires. the ban is either permanent or 14 days. Don't try appealing it if it's 14 days. Just wait it out

I honestly had no idea they did 1 year bans? I was only aware of perm and 14day ban, that's friggen weird.

And to other people, your appeal doesn't expire, the actual offense expires.

 

I think he only ment 1 year until the offence expire and he thought it was a ban for 1 year!!

It's the time you have to appeal it, in 2012 it'll expire and you cannot appeal the offense.

Check your account in 14-28 days.. you will be unbanned in between those days if you were only banned for minor macroing.

That really sucks that a year of botting might be gone to waste, although I started a pure in march and just at chaos druids and banshees I've almost maxed it. It won't take you more than 2 months to get those stats back if you go hard.

If the ban reason is Macroing Minor, you'll have 14 day ban and your stats and bank may be rolled back

 

Since it's a 14 day ban, you'll probably still be 90+ range and str when you come back so it can't be that bad.

I personally wouldn't bot a near maxed account without supervision, and at chaos druids...... that's asking for a ban.

 

Sorry for the loss but if the account is that precious to you, you probaly shouldnt be risking it in the first place.

 

This isn't a new thing. My pure got ban hammered nearly maxed back in the days of Ruby Ring alching, and 3 people in my clan got hammered that day too. May/June is the absolute pinnacle of hammering periods, they try to get rid of all the summer botters early.
