Trading with Banned Users

For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I run several successful shops in the marketplace, the most predominant include Runescape Gold & Membership Sales. Due to my trust and professionalism I have a lot of return customers, and lately I've noticed that more and more of them are being banned for scamming/phishing/evading/etc.

I personally have never had any problems with these individuals and I take many measures to ensure that money never leaves my hands once it's in my possession.

My question is, what do you guys think about this? I've looked around and nowhere does it say to cease all ties/trades with banned members, although I've seen people banned for associating themselves with blacklisted people *cough* Sigex *cough*

Trading with banned users is fine, but if you scam them we will ban you as well.

Yeah, I've had some vaders buy upgrades from me :S.

I'd sell it to them either way (banned or unbanned)

I still trade with banned users, although i tend not to sell gold to banned users as i would consider them a higher risk than your average sythe user of a charge back, but paying me to get them zeal, dung exp or whatever with rsgp is all good

 

Hopefully this isn't too far off topic (if it is I apologize), but what is the stance on vouches from banned users (in my case a vouch I received from an account recover-er, who I then posted about and got banned)?

 

We don't accept vouches that are not posted on Sythe. Since it's against the rules for them to make a new account to post a vouch, you cannot accept vouches from members who have already been banned. If they posted before their ban date, that is, of course, fine.

If you trade with banned users, do it with extra caution. Unlike yourself, they don't really have anything to lose.

 

Selling services for RSGP is fine, just do not deal with methods such as PayPal and it will be all good and of course just do not go first to them.

Well if they hope to ask for a pardon in the future trading with current Sythe members may end up being helpful for them.

 

I think it's fine to trade with bad people, under your own risk.
Chances are if it's your service they'll be going first anyways.

I too think it's okay, I'd probably take into account the nature of the ban though. If they were banned for scamming I'd serioiusly considering avoiding trade, based on moral grounds.

 

Why would you want to purposefully trade with a scammer?

 

I refuse to trade with banned users. I do not want to associate with them, and it would be an insult to the person that they scammed. If someone is banned, they are banned for a reason. It is supposed to be a punishment.

 

You guys do realize not everyone who is banned was banned for scamming, right...?
