Briefly explain the trade: It was a Runescape account trade. We traded through personal messages and MSN. Let me make this clear: It's my fault I got scammed. I trusted Hott3st Shot and got burned. Here is the link to my thread:

The trade was set up for $50 through paypal, which was pretty reasonable considering the amount of gold I had on the account. After I sent the password, he logged off his MSN.

How they scammed: Hott3st Shot did not take my account. He didn't even change any passwords, recovery questions, etc. He just logged onto my account, took the gold, logged off, and cut of communication with me.

Proof that you were not talking to an impostor:

In closing, I would like to admit that first of all, I was pretty stupid on my part. I read the stickies and readme's that advised against the use of MSN and personal messages, but I trusted the hott3st shot because he had numerous vouches and sounded like I could do some safe business with him.

Hott3st Shot is not a trustworthy user on Sythe, and I highly discourage anyone doing future business with him.
