Rant

So it' about 4 P.M and I light off some bottle rockets (4) and all they do is pop, no whistling or anything. I go inside for 5 minutes and notice a unmarked police car cruising up and down my street. I just think it's cool how fast idiots call the police nowadays for something as harmless as a bottle rocket. Jump off your high horse people.

 

Eh, you live in a big city? Usually fireworks are banned in some places. I can do whatever I want here, its pretty rural, so people can have bonfires, shoot guns, etc. without having someone rage and call the police.

 

There illegal in the state I live in, but still I don't think there was a need to call the police.

 

Probably older people who did it then, I wouldn't think anyone younger would do it, I like watching them shoot off even if its loud or late at night. Most elder people take naps around this time in the afternoon, or just don't like loud noises. Or someone maybe thought a gun got shot, fireworks can be loud sometimes.

 

yea thats stupid. especially for just bottle rockets. i can understand if it was a canon but even then as long as its controlled who cares.

Frankly, I don't think bottle rockets are bad, all they do is really juts go up in the air. I think some people can just take their tell-tale twits and shove it up their ass.

 

my friend's probation officer came by and noticed he was high. She called the cops and they searched his house. They found bottle rockets and he got a charge for them rofl

 

We have unmarked's croozing around my neighborhood all day anyway. Fireworks are illegal in my state as well..

I live in a culdesac and we always have a huge party on the 4th of July. Mortars, half sticks, all that fun shit that's illegal in the whole country.

The cops parked down the street and were watching our show.

 

I agree that it is BS that people would call for something like that. Sad to say I think a lot of people are that lame.

But, even though I feel this, I find bottle rockets extremely pointless. But obviously I wouldn't call cops just for that. Maybe if it went through my window and lit my couch on fire or something.

 

I like roman candles more, but thats just me

 

Yeah I'd have to say that at least those are more colourful/have more eye appeal.

When I lived at home on our 500 acre farm I did something "illegal" almost every day and nobody ever was the wiser.

Is it really dry where you live? Because bottle rockets are a good way to start fires and somebody might have called the cops because they didn't want their house to burn down

 

I live in a place about 30 minutes from the supermarkets and stuff, its a small town and you can really do anything out here.

 

I wish I lived somewhere rural ... I got like 300 Bottle rockets and got nowhere to light em off at. Oh and I got 75 packs of firecrackers... way too loud tho.
