That's a video of a solve I did a few days ago. Do any of you guys cube? If so, what's your PR?

 

2 years and running...

 

Best time I got down to was 1 minute and 8 seconds.

Learnt it when I was in grade 6, and haven't forgotten it since, however I forgot how to solve my 4x4 x.X

 

A good friend of mine was crazy with the Rubiks cube at one point last year, he was able to get it around the same time as you.
Idk if he can anymore though

What's your PR?

 

Been cubing for over 4 years, used to go to comps... Since college haven't gone to any competitions, and am not into the scene much any more. Used to really be into the megaminx, I'm in the top 100 on speedcubing.com.

As for the 3x3 I can probably do it in 45 seconds right now, because I'm rusty. I used to be sub-30, and my PR is around 25 seconds.

EDIT: 25 seconds might sound good, but among my cubing friends you basically sucked if you didnt have a sub-20 average.

 

I'll solve a cube in about an hour peeling the stickers off and arranging them.

 

I just learned the Petrus method... or, rather, I solved with Petrus for the first time using notes. It took me 45 freaking mins (my first time looking at Petrus.) Hopefully this will lead me to breaking my one minute barrier consistently

 

Best I had gotten was 55 seconds but I haven't done it in over a year.

 

Why would u do this,

 

The best ive ever gotten was like 4 minutes.

 

Best for me was less than a minute, 56 seconds. I was pretty stoked about it, but havent picked one up in awhile.

 

Takes me weeks to solve one, let alone do one in under a minute...

 

I think the best I've gotten it done was around 5min.

It gets annoying when you have the majority of it done except and then you can't figure out how to work out the last 2 or 3 squares.

 

Ahh... the infamous Rubik's cube, my arch nemisis. Alas, I have never solved it in my many years on this Earth. I have tried many a time, but it has bested me no matter how long I sit down and work at it.

 

finished it max 3 times in a 5+ year period, im tah best!;D

 

I find people who do the rubix cube in less the a minute amazing

 

In all honesty, I've never solved one :S

 

My friend can do it in just under a minute-ish, I don't really like 'em tho. Probably cause i suck
