OGV Applications for Guide Reform!

Keep the applications coming, guys. I welcome anyone and everyone who wants to apply to do so. We don't bite.

 

How many people will be added to the team?

 

6-8 OGV's, it's in the OP.

 

How active are you on Sythe? On every day, 4-7 hours. I'm constantly at home, so I can always be checking on this. Also, now that school is ending, my activity will increase exponentially.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? I can verify as many as people can crank out. I have a lot of free time

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

• I have been playing RS since 04
• Can verify consistently
• Very active player.
• I enjoy helping people and being active in the community.
• I speak English very well, and am a very clear writer.

Anything else we should know about? I am also a member of most community (Rs) Forums, so I can check to see if these guides are stolen/copied.

All that being said, I'm glad to see this happening. I hope that I can help out in more ways than I currently am, and am excited to see the VG section receive a breath of fresh air.

How active are you on Sythe? Being completely honest, 6-10 hours a day. Usually posting for my own needs, helping people, and MMing.
Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Sure. I definitely have the capability to verify multiple guides a week. I am very patient, knowledgeable, and very organized.
Why do you think you are fit for the position? Very organized with all my work, honest and truthful, very knowledgeable with guides, patient. I will take whatever time needed to make sure the guide is correct and doable.
Anything else we should know about? I will not let the team down. You can count on me. I respond very fast and will be on top of my work. If not, I agree to be booted off the team.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? since i'm alot on the forums and I love runescape, i have an 137 rs account, with multiple capes, and quest cape
i'm a player since '03 and I know alot about runescape.
Anything else we should know about? my mother language is dutch, I play alot on runescape, and have alot of knowledge about it. I've never scammed anyone, and not planning to do it.
I'm always on msn when i'm online and on sythe.
I speak dutch, english, a little german, and french.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I'm sensible, trusted mature and alway's nipping on sythe everyday to cure some boredom, so having some pm's in my inbox asking me to verify some guide's will be welcome to help me pass time.

Anything else we should know about?
I do not play runescape to umm say just play so i will not be useing/stealing any guide's for my own personal use as i only bot account's to farm gp or sell
If it's a guide i cannot test myself say i lack the requirement's would just pass it on to another OGV and i don't mind if the guide is for something not runescape related im willing to give anything safe a go.

I am a pretty active member, I try to be anyway. On average I am actually on Sythe for about 3-6 hours a day. My post count per day is 4+, it was much more than that but I have IRL issues going on.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

I would be more than happy to verify as many guides as I possibly can. I won't just verify any guide though, I will only verify Tue guide if it actually works. I have a lot of time on my hands now and can handle the work load, I'll try to make sure guides are legit and working properly before verifying it, never will I take my job lightly.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I feel I am one of the best people for the job. The reason why is because I have a heck of a lot of knowledge about runescape. Also, I have two runescape guides for sale in the section and i know what you need to have your guide verified. I generally want this job so I can give something back to the community and make sure users are buying a guide which works and every guide I do verify i can promise to keep track of the guide to see if the guide is still working so users don't waste their hard earned money.

I also feel I am mature enough for this job. At 17 years old I have learnt a lot and strongly believe I am mature enough to do this job to a high standard.

I don't feel the responsibility will be too much for me, I can handle a lot of work.

I am also a honest and trustworthy person with 44 Vouches, I have mm'd a few trades.

Anything else we should know?

Due to IRL issues I was going to quit Sythe, I made my farewell thread but I just can't tear myself away from these forums. I enjoy being part of a great community and I think its time I move forward and try helping Sythe as much as I possibly can.

- Submitted tons of reports and keep active in almost all the sections.

-I've been a Runescape player since classic and know my way around. I'm also honest.

 

How active are you on Sythe? All the time im not sleeping mostly. (8+ hours)
Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Ofcourse.
Why do you think you are fit for the position? Highly active, semi trusted (40+ vouches, $3,300+ handled), friendly, quick thinking.
Anything else we should know about? Written most of the things in third line, but like to add this; Mature, honest, giving all myself to serious jobs.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? I will, if necessary.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? Because I am (often ^^) mature, and my knowledge about RS is quite high. In primary school, we used to play RS already, and I was the one doing the quests, clue scrolls etc... when I was 7. I also think it would be a great opportunity for me to become known and trusted ( although no rank is involved, It's still a position you have).
Anything else we should know about? I go to school, I have a job. But that doesn't matter. Also, I live in Europe, so I could verify guides when the American folks ( like 80% ish?) go to sleep. I'm also a bit of a punctuation freak (for example, in the thread it should be ''responsibility'' and ''trustworthiness'') but I don't think that is a negative factor, unless you correct people on it all the time (<- which I just did... -.-)
