Briefly explain the trade: sent me a pm saying, "Are you interested in purchasing NPs/ETS/UC's?"

How they scammed: I opted to purchase 10 million neopoints for $2.80/1 million. I sent payment of $28 over paypal as a gift (they specifically requested that I send the payment as a gift). They told me to set up trades on neopets so that he can transfer the neopoints to my account. Never held his end of the deal.

Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: who could he have been pretending to be?

NOTE TO MODERATORS: I have filed disputes with Capital One and they have resolved the monetary situation. Capital One has bumped this case into an investigation and contacted the police in order to file a case in small claims court. I have also provided them with screenshots from sythe.org and paypal as well as email addresses/URL links/and usernames of the moderators on sythe (http://sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=463). I am not pursuing this for fiscal reasons as my bank has credited my account but because s_x_e is still unbanned on sythe.org and will continue to scam people unless something is done.
