Macs > PCs for pretty much EVERYTHING other than gaming lol.

Also, 512GB SSD hooooooooly shit. That's like 50% of the cost right there haha.

It doesn't have totally bad specs... You could do a lot better though for the price. I would hate the OS.. and idk what my thing is about RAM clock speed, but yours could be higher. Also, I didn't see a graphics card, what does that tell you?

how'd you find a toaster with a vga output?

Anyway I like my runescape on max settings and I also like the ability to play other games that don't suck and not have to worry about lagging because I have RS or 50 chrome tabs minimized.

Lol, WoW is hardly a demanding game. My friend has 512MB of RAM and he can run at a consitent 40-60FPS. ;)

Why did you buy this computer?

    Here are my specs:

They're very modest, but my computer does everything that I need it to do. Buying a new computer would be nearly pointless other than gaining a small amount of speed.

    My *good* desktop:

    1TB HDD
Planning on Installing Windows 7 on this computer soon.

    My 'project' desktop:
    Ubuntu 10.04
    2GB RAM
1.4 GHz AMD Athlon XP Processor
    60GB HDD
Intergrated NVIDIA GeForce 2 Graphics card

I'm currently looking for a new HDD for my project computer, and possibly a new graphics card; Although this computer runs flawlessly on Ubuntu.

A small amount of speed? You're joking right? I mean, not trying to hate on your setup or anything but if you really think it's only a minor performance gain then you really don't know much about computers or have never messed with one better than you own, or something. Your setup is about good enough for browsing the web, maybe playing RS on medium to low settings.. not much else honestly lol. You can't hate on a guy for wanting to use his computer for more than every day browsing
