Figured out how to remove recovs.(5/26/11)

This method works as of today, actually figured it out just now. I'm not really sure if people know how to do this since RS has changed the recovery system lately, but is this a huge thing? Or already known?

 

i knew how a year ago, so unless you have devised a new way..nothing special

Not sure where your coming from... When you recover normally now your recovs don't just come off like they used too.

 

dont think you can remove them tbh.

 

Seeing from this, would it be wise to get my method verified and for sale?

Not to sound like a greedy bastard, but I honestly wanted to see if this was known or not. My intentions were to find out if anyone knew this method. From the info I've collected from asking many members and posts, it doesn't seem that it's known. This is a vital part of recovering accounts, and I'm sure I'd be able to sell this guide. I intend to get it verified and It'll be up for sale soon.

You make this pointless thread and don't even tell others how its done. I'm sorry if i offend anyone by saying this but alot of you are retards. Honestly, there is an Option called " I do not recognize these Recovery Questions " You click that Box and if your appeal is Accepted the Recoveries will be Removed.

Yeah i'm a retard. Kid did you even see the Recovery System? This is how you are supposed to Remove them now. There are two Options when recovering an account.

'I have not sey any Recovery questions'
'I do not Recognize these Recovery questions'

L2read Retard. To remove Recoveries in the Old system you would put Stolen password. Believe me kid i know shitload of Information on the Runescape Recovery system.

I don't personally study the aspects of the recovery system, but I'm sure i know more about it than you. It isn't that easy anymore, the option is there if there are recoveries set, but doesn't necessarily remove the recoveries.

 

Actually, If you click the "I don't recognize ....", they don't get removed, but you have to set up new ones right away.

 

The recovery system changed a few weeks ago, so the method you know doesn't work.

Just recover the account with a VPN or proxy a few times, it will get locked.

Then unlock the LOCKED account (all you need is registered email anymore). Then boom, the recovery questions are off.

For everyone saying to click "recovery stolen password", that has been gone for months now.

It'd odd that with the new recovery system, even when you click "I don't recognize these recovery questions", and successfully recover your account... they're still set.
