How active are you on Sythe?

I'm pretty active on Sythe, whenever I go on MSN (which is for most of the day) my account is logged on sythe. Every few hours I browse around. I post whenever I can and try to make my posts useful/non spam whenever I do post. If you did a search on my post history, you'll find alot of my posts are either in the Personal support section, the sythe.org support forums, the marketplace and Help, Requests & Tech. Support forums. Sometimes I post in the community forums and the general/debate section.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

Yeah, definitly. Sythe is the only blackmarket forums that I visit, I have plenty of free time to help out with guide verifying. And for me personally it would be something that I would enjoy doing aswell.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I've been around sythe for a good 6 years and have good knowledge about the site and it's history. I've gained alot of trust before (but lost it due to a database crash) but when wildy came back, I got more active again (in the market) and started to build my trust once again.

My vouches range from various services that I have been apart off, from rares buying, to gp buying, to membership upgrade services, to staker services - all documented as much as possible with references and proof. In amount traded they value upto $6.9k+.

My staker services is an ongoing service I have at sythe at the moment. I do from time to time sell upgrades, but my intentions to sell upgrades are not fully personal gain. I actually buy my upgrades from Walmart for $8 and then sell for 12m, which in price is actually a loss for me. Why I do this? Well it's because (although it's not as bad now I don't think) when Upgrades section became active, so did alot of dishonest scammers, I felt the upgrades section was a hot place for scamming. At the time there were hardly any legit upgrade sellers so I decided to open up a shop there, and from time to time I sell upgrades (whenever I get time to go to Walmart or have spare money).


Anything else we should know about?

In all my time, I've never had any problems with anyone and no one's ever had any problems with me. Every trade that i've done or been apart of, people have always been happy, whenever possible I try to tip people from my experience about safe trading.

I like to learn and try things out, knowledge is something I enjoy gaining. Whenever I get some free time, I check out the guides section and read some guides, if I see something I didn't know or want to try out, I always do. I owe sythe alot of credit for the new things that I learn here every day.

-Maturity - My posts hopefully reflect my maturity.

-Activity - My activity as stated above should be good enough.

-Responsible - I understand this very well and would be willing to take full responsibilities given. I understand the risks.

-Trustworthy - I believe I am trustworthy enough and continue to be more.

-Community/market involved - Am always in both those sections.

-Some degree of RS knowledge - Take a look at my staker thread, I have 3 accounts and many others from which I've gained some extensive RS knowledge.

 

How active are you on Sythe? Probably too active for my own good. I spend half my life on sythe...

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Yeah, I already have too much time spare so this should be a breeze.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? In short terms - I think I fit qualities you are looking for, but in a more descriptive way - I feel I would benefit the OGV immensely with how active I am. Also, lately I've gotten into runescape again (getting 99 slayer yesterday) so I'm certain I am up to the level of knowledge needed to be an OVG. Finally, I think I've matured within the last 3 months (not trolling and such; banned from the spam forum - requested).

Anything else we should know about? I'm trying to buy "turnitin" the plagiarism finding program, so if they allow me to buy it - finding guides which are ripped would be a easy as 1, 2, 3. Though there's a big chance they won't sell it to me.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? I've been around for ages and I consider to be one of the more mature members of the site. I enjoy helping out, and wanted to be a OGV last time, but it filled up while I was gone. I've also looked at multiple peoples guides on request, and although I can't "verify" them, I've let people know whether or not I believe they're worth buying.
Anything else we should know about? I'm pretty dedicated, and would love the position.

 

I just have a question, sorry if it's not allowed but it pertains to this topic.
I sent my guide to an official OGV saturday;he's in the process of verifying it. Now that this has happened, will my guide still count as being 'verified' if he's not on the team anymore?

How active are you on Sythe?Very Active, I read the forums daily and post 2-5 posts a day depending on whether the subject holds any interest to me.
Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? I can definitely verify multiple guides a week as I have lurked in that section since I have been on this site. I originally came to Sythe in 05 when the guides were not in the market section but one of the main sub-forums on their own. I just lurked around and read guides and learned a lot about runescape that way, but never made an account since I was not interested in trading at that point.
Why do you think you are fit for the position?I am near maxed on RS, very active on the site, and have lots of experience in the market. I have been trading since August 2010 and have owned a successful DG business for 3 months which helped motivate me to get 120 dungeoneering in rs. I am also extremely cautious when making trades and the only time I have ever been scammed in a trade was by Classics who stole 100m from me. I am also active in irc, and have talked with several of the other applicants and have made a couple trades with you Nate without any problems.

Anything else we should know about?I enjoy reading guides and would love the opportunity to verify them and it would give me a way to help the Sythe community.

Anything else we should know about? I've held OGV since it was originally created and have remained active throughout it's creation.

 

The OGV team will be disbanded for a few days for the shift. Unless he verifies it tonight, I don't see it being verified under the current system. Don't worry, though--the whole reason for the revamp is to ensure that your guides will be verified with much more swiftness and organization in the future. This way, people will actually be able to trust verified guides. Maybe you can be the first guide we verify.

I'm more than willing. I have plenty of free time, summer vacation is coming soon so I'll have even more time. I'm not willing to verify multiple guides...I'm willing to verify 100's if I have to.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I think I'm fit for this position for the following reasons:
I have a vast amount of Runescape knowledge and resources that I can use to make sure every guide is 100% worth verification

I have plenty of time which I can use to be verifying guides

I have experiene in not only reading guides (I've bought quite a few from Sythe) but also writing them. I myself have written a couple guides, one of which was verified and sold in the Sythe Verified Guides Forum

I know how to be able to tell a good guide from a bad one.

I'm extremely active and will be able to verify guides within minutes as I'm always carrying my phone and/or laptop with me.

- That's the point of the position, of course I would be.

- I think fit the position because I have a good amount of trust already and am already a very active user. I don't plan on leaving sythe in a blink of an eye so you don't have to worry about me suddenly leaving. I also have been playing runescape for 6 years now so I know a ton about runescape.

- Not really. I hope I'm accepted and I can assure you I will do my best if I'm allowed to join.

Just about as active as humanly possible. I'm online for easily 5 hours at a minimum each day simply because I'm trading gold constantly. I constantly refresh various sections on Sythe simply to see if there are any new posts. I really refrain from posting usually but I have somehow managed to rack up over 1,000 posts, which is more than I have ever posted on a forum before.

Definitely, I'll be online on Sythe pretty much constantly throughout the week.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I am an extremely trusted user and I will definitely not leak any guides or jeopardize my Sythe account in any way. I've always tried to give back to Sythe, as shown by my $500 donation, yet I have never really been in a position on the forum to actively do so. I've played the game since 2003 pretty much throughout the past 8 years and my knowledge of all facets of the game is thorough.

Anything else we should know about?
If given the chance, I'd love to help make Sythe a better market place in two ways. For one, ensuring that the integrity of the site is not compromised through the sale of fake guides. For two, I could use my trustworthiness as an asset by encouraging potential guide sellers to use me as an official guide verifier because there would be no worry of a leak or ripped guide .

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I have played runescape since the end of 2001, and on the account I play on was made in early 2002. I know all the in's and outs of runescape and know how it works, i have also abused many glitches and have the patience and knowledge of the game to get the job done. I also have access to a variety of accounts from accounts with 0 quests done, to my main that has all achievements done, all quests done so i can reach any part of runescape if necessary, and if i cannot i am willing to do whatever it is to get the requirements to get the complete the job.


Anything else we should know about?

Im 21, i have my head screwed on, earn enough from my job to not be scamming for a messily 10$ or so. I will not leak information i have been trusted with ever. I completed an apprenticeship so i know how to take orders/instructions giving to me, and im sure that after you know me you will not regret giving me the position.
