My 2cd block is my Web Design class, we have photoshop - with literally all default brushes, a bubble brush, and 1 splatter brush - and I was bored so this is what I drew up...

    New:
I lowered the opacity of the swirls, removed some of the splatter on the focal and on the right side, sharpened the focal a bit, blurred the background, slightly moved the text, and added some black borders..
Edit: Just realized, apparently I repasted a layer so there's still slightly visible splatter on the focal/right side.

    Update:
Added "T" to the text and removed some of the opacity on the bubble.

This is the first thing I've made in a few months, please tell me what to change etc.

Note: I know it's not the best thing, I've never followed a tut and I've made around 6 or 7 tags/things.

That's so much better than anything I can do. 9.5/10 for a rating.

I find that the bubble distracts from the focal. You did a great job with the text and splatters.

    Overall, I quite like this.

I'll upload another after I do.. I looked at your work and they're all great so I'll follow your advice ;p

I've actually never added a filter so I guess it's time to experiment ._.

Don't Topaz because topaz detract from an image most of the time. Play with gradients and color balance layers but I would recommend working on component placement and depth first. the basics.

yeah colour balance and gradients are usually a better option

i suggested a photo filter because there's less margin for error when placing it

tsk tsk photo filter's shit wtf.

Half the time smart sharpen works better.

And also upward flow's not really doing it. colour scheme could be better and scattered brushing/fragments detract from the piece.

    composition's too simple.

off topic; surj i have study leave now, my sister lives near brixton so i come down south a lot, come we have a bun sesh?

It's awesome, actually, I love it! I do think that the far left side corner is lacking something though.
    Goodjob Moe!

Your name doesn't really stand out, I had to use the zoom on my eyes to find it.
    But other then that, great.
