Castle wars is dead?

Hey so Castle Wars is pretty much dead. Any world it operates in is full of just bots/farmers building accounts to sell just farming tickets. I remember rushing home from middle school to meet the guys and play Castle Wars till my mom yelled at me to get off the PC.

Anyway enough of that, would there be interest here to plan a Castle Wars night as a community? Just all meet up in a determined world and just play the mini game for a couple rounds and have true dialogue? All the standing in the middle waiting for the timer to end and go to town on ice barraging everyone. Doing and AGS spec and telling someone to sit. And lastly the people who didn't 100% understand that game just going around placing barriers in the worst possible spots.

We could do this just as a social event (none sanctioned as any official Sythe capacity) or could create teams (requires 10 players per team) and could have like a bracket with prizes at my expense.


Feel free to comment below if you would like to do something like this or with your input on what could be added to make this more appealing/workable.

I would absolutely love to do something like this. I think castle wars was probably one of, if not my most played mode but in RS peak. Maybe it’s the nostalgia speaking here lol but count me in

 

I think it was for everyone but they won't admit it.

If you have an ideas on how to set this up would love to hear any feedback you have.

 

To be quite frank I can’t think of a better setup than the brief one you mentioned in OP. I just know that I would love to participate and even contribute incase you need help gathering folks for this

 

That seems to be the hard part. Feel free to share this threads link with friends and others. Once we can get enough interest to at least form 2 teams we can set a world and time.

Ok new thought here. If I supplied max combat account for users to use so they didn't have to show up with their own accounts and the accounts had gear and supplies on it. Would this draw anymore people to this event?
