Are shadow spells useful for MB?

Ive been MBing lately and seen ppl use shadow barrage on me. I know it lowers attack, but does it lowers attack the skill, or attack for every thing that does damage?

Quite sure it's one smoke barrage ( or watever poisons ) then the rest blood blitz/barrage..

 

My reccomendation is to not MB, haha thats just me though. But when i did it i found that the blood spells were normally the better spells. Only because it healed you, and some times saved you the fight. Good luck

Never seen anyone use it in a fight...realistically, it would be ideal, but since the popularity is so low, I guess it's not that effective.

 

the good people that mb that i know usually first use a shadow spell to lower attack then use the smoke to poison and keep doing that (or barrage depending if the persons hp is low or high atm) and then blood spell as soon as u hit half hp.... this is just their method, also they said if u put ur auto on and have it in ur best melee combat stance u usually do better (i don't understand how but superstition i guess....?) these are just the things they said... also to my knowledge the shadow spell that lowers attack doesn't work for magic attacks but some ppl things it does and that will helps them in fights

 

I've only ever seen people use it on the first hit, however personally I never use it. I don't think it makes much of a difference in the long run and it doesn't seem as accurate as blood spells to me. That is the feeling I have gotten at least.

 

1-3 hits shadow barrage
(Some times: 1-2 hits of Smoke Barrage for poison.)
Blood barrage till almost red barred
Blood blitz to finish

That's how the pro's do it.
