snowboard anyone?

hi, i love snowboarding, but didn't find any thread about it :huh:
so if you snowboard just some random questions:
how long you've been snowboarding?
do you have your own board?
what do you love the most about snowboarding?
....


i have been snowboarding for 10 years now, i got 2 boards (nitro all around and a burton freestyle) and i love freestyle but i'm not that good also i love off road snowboarding. Also i would love to go snowboarding in the USA or Canada ^^

And a question: is it true that the snow rocks in Canada?

this year we almost didn't had snow at easter

 

I've been snowboarding for a good 7 years now. I love the Terrain Park, mainly jumps. I have a Capita Horroscope 151 2011, and I love it My biggest jump so far is a 65 ft kicker.

 

i have been snowboarding for bout 3 years so im a noob
awesome time.. just like to go out and have fun.
just moved from colorado so now i have to find some good spots again :/

 

I haven't yet, but we're going on a school trip to a ski field in September, hopefully I'll be able to snowboard eh. Always wanted to.

if i can give you one tip, don't be afraid to fall then it will be much easier

 

I live in Alaska but im moving in a few months so no more snowboarding for me. Been doing it for 2 seasons, and i have 720s pretty good. Im a skater at heart though

 

I like it, never tried with a snowboard, only with a skateboard deck, but it is great for the beginning and not from very high hills.

 

I've been snowboarding a few times and its really fun. I don't own my own board, but someday I plan on it. My favorite thing about snowboarding is that when you fall it doesn't hurt.

 

Ive been snowboarding maybe 10 times total, i suck ass but i can tell you that the snow in canada ROCKS!!! lol, best place to come.

Its the 4th one (the black and red one).



I wish I used it more often for what it cost.

I've done snowboarding about 4 times. I never owned my own board though. The first day it sucks because you fall and you feel SO SOAR the next morning it's crazy. After that, I had a great time going fast and if I get wrecked I just get right back up. It's definitively worth doing it again.

 

I love snowboarding.. I go on a hill called toboggan hill and its filled with sick jumps. I learned backflip, FS360, Lipslides, Any grab doing Bs180. Switch im practically the same. I skateboard aswell..

 

I always wondered if it's true that snowboarding is way much easier to learn if you did skateboard before, cause i actually never skateboarded in my life.

I just started this winter, and it's probably one the most exciting things I've ever done. I get super frustrated sometimes, like the first time I tried to ride down the whole mountain, but it's still sooo fun

I don't have my own gear yet because I'm investing in other things at the moment.. but come next winter, I might splurge. Last winter, I used my sister's boyfriend's stuff and he's a 6'5" 300 lb native american but I digress
