I don't "get" dubstep.
Please don't mis-understand this post as trolling. I'm just trying to understand.

Like. Is it hard to do? Like, honestly? It all kinda seems the same to me. And it's just. Not real. It's synthetic sound. It doesn't exist in reality, hence why computers have to make the weird noise that just makes my head hurt.

 

I guess it's an acquired taste, but actually yes, it's quite difficult. To get all those sounds mashed up into a song that still sounds good and maintains a beat takes a long time. It is all computer made, but is still extremely difficult.

 

No one on Sythe likes dubstep?

 

I don't thank that's Sythe specific .
But couldn't somebody just create a program where you click a few buttons and you have a 6 minute song? Doesn't seem to be a lot of imagination in dubstep, so a computer could find it kinda easy.

 

Yeah I guess that's possible, but then dubstep would be ruined. And you'd actually be suprised, it's quite difficult to come up with multiple dubstep songs with different sounds.

But the more you listen to it the more you will hear. There are actually quite a lot of things going on in one song at most times, to mix it, you would have to be pretty on the ball at all times, if your out by a few seconds it can sound totally wrong

 

Nice to hear from another Dubstep listener/fan. But I know exactly what you mean considering I've tried to produce my own song.

I like dubstep and it isn't just mashing buttons to create a song. You have to make it flow.

LOL i aint no scammer i am trying to get my post count up tho but i do love dubstep,dnb,drumstep and zeldastep nero,flux and doctor p would have to be my favs atm

Dubstep is drug music , sounds better on drugs , makes your feel better on drugs...

I went and saw Rusko live on the 7th, best night of my life. ever.

ah rusko also dropped doctor p's track over there, the crowd went insane.

 

Yeah my brother went to Rusko, and said the exact same thing. He was rolling on like 4 points of course.

 

There is a remixer on youtube by the name of "DjEphixa"
He is amazing in my opinion.
