Do not allow PA as currency

Just small suggestion, sick of seeing threads where sellers only accept PA, so i think PA should't be used as currency.

For example - http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1131773 , he is advertising PA sale, and will not accept paypal. Why would you advertise PA here when it is taking the trade outside of sythe and you you can search on PA site for cheaper prices or more trusted sellers.

Examples of acceptable threads - http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1003224 or http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=998331.
They accept few different type of payments, so its should be okay...

Thats like saying we should not allow WU, or MO etc because they are methods used off site from sythe. PA is the best way of accepting paypal; not allowing it is just dumb to be honest.

 

Well i don't see why would anyone use PA and would't use Paypal.

Althought, WU And MO trades are still inside sythe, as middleman can be used within a trade.

 

PA takes a 10% fee and guarantees 0% chance of chargeback. If you're about to do a large trade, naturally you'd want to avoid the chance of chargeback.

MM could still be used for a PA trade, although it's largely unnecessary as PA themselves act as the MM

 

Yes i understand, like in your thread, you accept both paypal and PA, and i think its fair, but when people only advertise PA, when you can go to to their site and find cheapest price by urself...

 

x paranormal x i see you on everyones gold/item selling threads saying that you are interested even when they are selling for $.75+/M and you always tell them to go first. why dont you just buy from someone like punkerpunk13 who offers prices at $.60/M? am i wrong to think that you are slightly sketchy? ill be happy to link you to some example threads.

On topic: P/A has different rated sellers who have faster delivery times and better prices. I personally don't like to accept paypal as a direct payment due to the ease of chargebacks so i post a P/A link if im interested in selling.

 

Then do that. No one is forcing you to pay with PA, find another seller if thats what you wanna do....?

 

The only reason for people NOT to use PA IMO, is simply so they can chargeback and walk away with free GP.

Look at it this way - not allowing PA questions the sites legitimacy, its like telling people, 'NO, dont use an OMM'. It makes no sense and contradicts everything the Staff and many users try to promote - safe trading.
