disputed $100 I need something better than this paypal shit

What can I do to seriously prevent all this bullshit with disputes. I got a transaction held right now for 100 dollars. I make them send a note and everything claiming tht they received they're services/goods and that they would not reclaim but I guess paypal doesn't give a fuck about that. What do I do!?what's a better thing to use to manage my money besides paypal because that's bullshit. I know r2pleasent has a type of paypal where its different from the rest I've seen and I don't think you can't dispute from him. All I know is that I need help

 

Can't you use PlayerAuction's ?

 

Can ask them to send you id, make sure their the holder of the email, call to verify phone, match ip to their address, etc. That prevents unauthorized claims pretty much. Can just show proof of delivering for chargebacks. Also, make sure it's a balance payment.

There fee's are very high, but you have no chance of a chargeback.

 

If its an unauthorized transaction than you still have a pretty good chance of winning the claims. If its paid through credit card and they cancelled it via their credit card issuer... then you're pretty much screwed.

 

I would really recommend you using Playerauctions. The fees are quite a pain, but they're better then getting chargeback'd every single transaction.

 

You could always go with Western Union and pick up your payment in cash.

 

Who charged back on you? was it the guy who you sold 120m too?

Shit, I'm sorry to hear that. I'd recommend using PlayerAuctions, MoneyBookers, WU, Bank Transfers or another form of payment...but like many have said, there are negatives in their large fees (except MB) and wait-time.

As for PayPal. To help you win the dispute, do this in future trades:

Make them write a note with their msn and sythe name included. On sythe, have them pm you their RSN and confirmation of the trade.

Take screenshots of the images of you trading the gold. Take 2 screenshots. One of being in the trade window. Another after the trade has passed to see the "trade accepted".

After they send a payment, make them screenshot "Details" of the payment. One, to ensure that they didn't send it through Credit Card. Two, so that you can use that evidence if a dispute is started.

If the dispute is made, screenshot portion of the msn conversation of confirmation, the Sythe pm, and the rest of the evidence that you've kept. Upload it all and explain the situation on the PayPal dispute. You should win, in most cases. If you need any other help, pm me.

 

MoneyPak is a great way to sell virtual goods on sythe. Basically the buyer buys a GreenDot MoneyPak card, loads it up with X amount and sends you the code. You then add it to your PayPal. Non disputeable. 100% safe.

 

Yea PayPal sucks, they currently permanently limited both my accounts and holding $1k+ for 180 days, they said they don't want to do anymore business with me and to seek another payment processor =\.

 

idk who charged back and im pretty sure it was the 120m guy. i talked to paypal they couldnt do anything he got it back. learned my lesson never using paypal for rsgp anymore

 

Damn that sucks, what was their reasoning? High risk? That's what they've given me in the past.

 

Same happened to me but with only $700. Still really annoying, 180 days seems so over the top.

Yea, they said too high risk =\. Most payments I receive are from playerauctions and I always payed back every chargeback/dispute, idk what's their deal.

 

I highly recommend player auctions like the above posts, fee's are 10% + 2$ of every transaction which i guess for the safety is reasonable.

@ punkerpunk does this eliminate all or just most of the risk of charge backs? Never heard of ringing others for info, ip ect.. Do most buyers also accept this kind of treatment (not saying its bad) just saying i wouldn't like to reavel private information for small deals but i would do it for anything over 100$ + if the seller preferred it.
