Expectations on members?

I recently noticed that we now have 251k members.

I missed the 250k day, mostly because I've been depressed

Anyhow, expectations for 300K?

500K?

I'd guess we have 300k by March / April of 2012.

As for 500k I have a feeling it would be a couple of years.

 

By January 2012, we'll have 300k.

 

I don't think it will take a few years. I think this because Sythe is a growing community, and due to the fact of the ban evaders. The ban evaders probably have thousands and thousands of accounts in total.

 

To be honest, that number is extremely misleading, and in the big scheme of things, Sythe.org has a very small member base. Here are some numbers for you:

Total members: 251,732

Total members with 0 posts: 115,804

Total members with 10 or less posts: 68,135

That means that out of the 251,732 members, only 67,793 have 11 or more posts, yet almost twice that number have absolutely NO posts.

Going even further, only 14,072 members have 50 or more posts, which is where I would call a member actually "active", yet the active member base of Sythe.org I'm sure is far under even that.

Just to give a different perspective out there.

 

There will be 300k by January 2012. Why? Christmas, new years people tend to get loads of cash. Cash is the key and is needed for most blackmarkets.

To achieve 500k, it'll take years. Basically we need double the amount of now, which is amazingly ridiculous.

I have confidence that sythe will get more and more people to join. Therefore, nothing to worry about

 

If there was 14k active members on Sythe (active = 1 post a day) , there would need to be like 20 more moderators to regulate all the extra bullshit.
