Scamming - Your Opinion?

Yeh i agree i too have played runescape legitimate for a couple of years now and i hate scammers and think that they should try adn stop them all.I dont mind botters though.

 

LOL are you kidding me? No, your argument is flawed. I'm a religious guy and i never scammed anyone and never will. Dude, lying makes me feel so guilty and i will have many sleepless nights, what do you think scamming would do to me?. I got scammed a blue party hat when it was worth 400m Gb 3 years ago, and i was sad because i needed rent money and that was the only means to get it at that time.

I will never ever scam anyone or mistreat anyone. Fortunatly i believe in the afterlife and in karma so much that i would rather kill myself then hurt someone who doesn't deserve to be hurt.

One more thing, I sold an account to someone over fagex and he was so scared that i might scam him. what i did is that i gave him my name, phone number, social insurance number, citizenship photo id and complete address. I even recorded myself saying who I'm giving the account to and what price and i will never scam it. Not many people are willing to do what i do(if there are any?).

Got scammed on paypal for 100 dollars. The guy disputed after I sold him the gp. Hopefully I win the case

Scamming on Sythe is literally like killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

I've made far money by being trustworthy and true to my word, the level of respect that I maintain with my customers makes most of them return buyers. My personal ethics and morals are against anything considered illegal, therefore I steer clear of scammers/hackers/ddosers/etc.

An easy principle to live by is "treat others the way you'd like to be treated", not once have I considered scamming others, and I've been involved in individual deals worth over $1000.

 

I've lost thousands of dollars and am actually in debt 2000 due to dumb fuck scammers like that. I'm sorry to say, but you're not gonna win it. Always go through player auctions.

 

Well if they fool for it then its kinda there fault to double check so they learn lessons?

Well the people who fall for the most obvious scams like doubling money in a way deserve to be scammed. They are being greedy and falling for things that are too good to be true. I don't support any form of scamming, though. I guess some younger rs players might fall for scams like that. I once saw a lower level fall for the double money scam and he lost all his gp which was around 100k. When I had 100k I thought it was a lot of gp so I figured I would just give him 100k since it isn't much to me. He accepted it, but then I got really mad because he started walking around the G.E. saying "Got scammed for 100k, need cash". I doubt he got any more money though since most runescape players are fairly greedy.

Scamming has existed since the beginning. And it always will. I have never scammed, nor will I. I find it to be a waste of time and morally exhausting.
