So many sore losers?

So I decided I'd go alch over at Duel Arena... As I watch these fights, I realize there are so many sore losers "Wow you potting fag" "Gf nerd" "Fuck you" "Wow you no life" etc etc.. Why is there so much hate? Can anyone really control their anger over a game? Literally, it's like 7/10 of the fights I watch have a sore loser. Does anyone just say gf anymore?

 

I wish that was the way it was. But i wouldnt know i quit dueling a while ago. My account sucks for that lol

 

There's no honor in anything pvp-related anymore. This game isn't even close to what it used to be.

 

Depends, you can't really find honor especially low leveled people (kids that are probably 10 and under), who have a heart attack when they lose 100k. However since I am a high leveled person the people I compete against are very much more honorable and not as childish, but you never know, this could also be vis versa

 

generally i've found this rule. note: there are exceptions!

rule one: Pre '07 players are generally more respectful
rules two: higher level players are generally more respectful

 

Instead of saying "gf" I don't even reply/talk to my opponent

"gf" is more of a taunt now and it doesn't really mean good fight anymore, it just means "Cya loser I downed your ass, don't fight me next time".

 

I never say fuck you when I lose a 10m+ stake. I generally say "wow" because Im dumbfound that I actually lost

 

Would you hate if you lost 1000m? which would be around $700...

Pre 07 there wasnt everyone being 126.. only a few were, now everyone is. So less respect is shown.

In 07 i think i was 120 or 121 or something and i was respected a fair bit, by the lower levels. And i also showed respect to the higher levels. The game has changed forever and it will never be the same.

Also in cames like counterstrike and CoD an generally all over the internet respect is less as idiot kids get internet and mic's an learn how to say new words like "fuck" and "owned". I blame the 12 year olds on the internet games and the rap music lol

 

I see a shit ton of high level players with low as hell skill totals (obviously just powered combat for combat) that have no respect for anyone. However, particularly in PvP situations, I notice the same sort of behaviour in high level players with decent or high skill totals.

You say 'Pre 07' like those players are old school or something. I know tons of kids that idolized me back then when they were low and I was high, that disrespect me and everyone else now adays. Being in the negative environment takes a toll on some people.

I have been in a shitton of duels where when I lost, I am respectful about it. Guess what? 99% of the people that win rub it in your face with stupid comments right before you die.

It depends. Generally people who stake high don't say anything, maybe a "gf" at the end.

Mbers are kind of annoying because many of them pid and will refuse to log out and back in infront of you, so they start flaming.

It's pretty funny seeing certain people lose though, because they rage so bad. Ie. Tonychet2

Sometimes I cuss when I get beat, but it's not at the person who won, it's just letting out steam because I just lost a lot of GPs

No it wasnt ALWAYS like this, only in the last 4 years, most people pre-BH crater were honorable, even clans like EOS,Di,DF who used to be honorable turned due it being such common place.

I can remember a time where Di members if they prayed first when pking 1 on 1 against someone and you reported them they would be insta-banned. In the end they didnt give a shit coz being No Honour was such common place.

 

I've always lost with honor, Cussing and stuff makes them just laugh. A good gf when you know you're beat is just showing good sportsman-ship.

I would love to see people rage in real life with some of the fights i've had xD

 

Well I been playing since 2003 and to me personally the name calling and PJ in pking and everything went on and still goes on.I used to go to w18 with my dds and have fun in 50+ wildy with tons of noobs and high level people lol.

But nothing has really change at least with people maybe a bit more stuck up.

Yes,
Tons more people are high levels but that is because of limited factors before and now so things are easy to get and less work involved.
