    Restored computer, issues afterwards

I think I had a virus or something on my computer.
There were a shitton of error messages.
The only icon on my desktop was Windows 7 Restore Point or some shit.
    My wallpaper was gone.
I saw a random "scanning" and it told me I had alotta errors and shit so I restored my computer.

After restoring my computer, I noticed numerous of my desktop icons missing.
Not only did I notice missing icons, some of my programs didn't work.
I tried to open soldier front, but all I got was an error so it had to be closed, every time.
I deleted it and re-installed it, but it still doesn't work.
Also, all my documents are not in the My Documents folder.
But when I hover over the arrow, I can still see some documents.
All my pictures are also not there anymore.
    Any ideas why?

Sounds like you have a pretty nasty virus.
You said you restored it? Do you mean to factory settings?

Never heard of this problem, but the only advice I could give you is to just officially wipe everything out mate, see how that goes?

It actually sounds like you did not restore you computer but clicked on a fake scan and system restore that could possibly be part of the virus. What I would suggest is, turn off your computer, when you start it up again press the key to put your computer into SAFE MODE, in safe mode your system will only run essential things. Once you are in you can go and try restoring your computer to the first date.

The reason you are missing a lot of things could also be because in a System Restore you are just going back to your computer X time ago. This means it is likely you will lose a lot of your programs and documents. It may be good to download a program called Registry Mechanic which will help you rid some of the errors.

I've restored it to only like 5 days ago.
I never clicked on the restore on my desktop.
Whats the button for safe mode on a windows 7?
When I turn on my computer, there's nowhere that tells me to push buttons for safe mode or anything.

When booting up your computer, repeatedly press F8 until a menu comes up giving you the option to boot in safemode.

few things, the restore point (<3 rsync <333) will attempt to roll back the system to a previous state, i.e. if you didn't have your icons and crap when the restore point was saved they will no longer be there.

The error messages could easily have been caused by a bad dlink, (a64 or i386 windows?)

Restore points should be done in safe mode

Use a non-admin account, so if your system is infected it won't have the permissions it needs to be a pain in the ass. Use the administrative account for managing your av and crap.

*.dll, *.ocx, *.dvr, etc.. or dynamic link library. Long explanation short, they allocate resources to the parts of the os that need/handle them. If one comes up short, particularly a heavily used resource dlink, it could be bad mojo.

It all depends on what the dlink does, and how it's used. Some dlinks can allow for some imaging types to run arbitrary code. More advanced malware will hijack dlinks. They can cause blue screens of death, decrease in performance, could cause drivers to fail, applications to start having issues. There's quite a list.

You probably had a rogue antivirus if it was scanning and giving you fake results to make you want to buy the program to delete the fake results.

If you simply did a system restore, it's not removed. If by system restore you mean reinstalling windows 7 that's something different.

First scan with antimalwarebytes and answer my questions :)

When you restored it , was it restore to 'Out of the box' State? if so, you shouldn't have any problems, if you did and still do - take it to a repair place.
