Scammed again- 2 times in a week =/

I guess im just really naive. The second time I got scammed for 30+ mil by someone with 25+ vouches. First Joana and now beardedjet...DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE... I guess I just really don't understand the point of working 25+ vouches and then doing a simple scam for 30m. Well I lost everything trying to get someone to bot me to 99 mage... GG WP scammers and good luck in the future. Cya RS.

I'm sorry you got scammed, next time you should have used a middleman, as 25 vouches isn't really a lot.

I know it is a stupid thread I just got pretty upset.

 

Try to use middlemen no matter what. Anything is possible.

 

Sorry to hear that dude, I know, getting scammed sucks. I've been scammed for well over 100M since I started using Sythe, but I feel the best thing to do is suck it up and keep on moving. Don't let it get you down, what you gotta do is always remember to take pics of the trade if you feel you're dealing with someone who seems sketchy/untrustworthy. That way, if you get scammed, you at least have the reassurance of knowing that you can now get them banned.
We've all got to learn these things one way or another :/

Using a trusted MM or an OMM will cut your scamming problem greatly.

 

Some people even do middlemen services for free!

That really sucks though, I hope you can make it back.

thanks ill definitely use a MM if I decide to continue playing. Seems like no point since I lost it all but hey, not like I lost a bill or anything

 

theres a saying i like that goes like this:

fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

you should have learned from your first mistake. Always use an OMM or a very trusted MM. you may think at the moment that you are saving yourself alot of hassle and money by not using one, but im sure now you see that isnt the case.

If you sold the 30m you could have easily bought an autofighter and gotten 99 range on your own and still have an amazing bot for any of your other needs.

 

instead of ppl getting scammed how about donating to me on my way to 99 prayer ?

 

if you had 30m that woulnd't be a good price since an acc with 99 mage would cost less

 

Dude i understand that you are upset about this and just want to go "screw it all" but the best thing to do is get the screenshots and end these guys scaming careers! They will continue to scam people and others will have the same fate as you. Please for the community do all that you can to bring these guys to justice. And sorry about everything that happened.

 

not really sure what your saying but I had 27m for materials to get like 100k nats and the high alc items.

 

From my experience Sythe is FILLED with scammers.
heres some tips:
always look at the email's make sure they match with ones on the forums EXACT
Check on the list of accounts to not buy
Always get recovs and most info you can
Post count might be 200-300 but check join date
Also vouches can be simple things such as doing a f2p quest or such, those scammers will do anything for trust
Once this guy had a list of vouches in his sig but if you clicked the thread goto button it went to a different thread - they were fake, always check that
