Tell them the truth tbh and see what they say.... The truth always works out best at the end. Many lure and don't get banned, definitely not perm bans.

 

We weren't banned for luring as its just frowned upon. I appealed...

Dear customer service person that I have no respect for. I have spent a substantial amount of money on runescape memberships in the last decade. I deserve a speedy and thorough investigation of this incident that shouldn't even exist therefore wasting yours and my time. Me and my friends killed some idiot in clan wars, we split the loot, you banned us....now investigate that and unban me, an apology would be greatlly appreciated.

This is interesting.

They either are that paranoid as to ban every account that gives wealth to other accounts when an offence has happened, or they are just saying it was hijacked in order to have a reason to ban you for luring.

Either way, very interesting.

 

Update us and let us know what happens, I think you were a bit of an asshole in the appeal attempt, I woulda been more nice about it. People do make mistakes, you were probably banned by an automated system anyway.

 

My brothers account got banned for this, and he receive free gold from someone at BH crater spamming " quitting , free gold " , like 2 hours later he said he was logged out an permed, this was over 2 years ago lol. Good luck on your appeal.

 

Sometimes being a rude asshole is better than being kind/respectful especially with rs customer service in my opinion. Will keep updated, Im eager to see the results as well.

 

RS customer service are just college students on temporary contracts with Jagex, so like they give a damn what any of us think XD

Your appeal makes no difference.

What you say in the appeal and how you say it makes absoultely no difference at all.

1. Jagex don't care if you are right or wrong, nor do they care about your take on the situation. They look over what happened once, and decide whether to unban or not.

You could write 'poop' for your appeal and get unbanned if they deem it suitable - in relation to the accounts offense.

 

If you want to 'Play the game morally' then why are you on a cheating community?

 

you could try to cop a plea to luring, and deny you had any idea you got a guy who was hijacked, i mean it's gonna get you a punishment for luring, but there's definitely a small chance that the truth will save you some of the ban.

 

Tell them the truth, and the real circumstances. Don't say you were luring, say you saw him go through the portal and killed him.

If you get banned at least you know you deserve it. Botting/RWT is perfectly understandable imo, but anything which relates to scamming is something which I disagree with. So in my opinion you deserve your comeuppance...

I figured when all 3 of my accounts and my friends got the same responses even with different appeals.

Luring isn't scamming if it was it would be called scamming and not luring.
