currently what is the punishment for macroing??i heard some got perm banned,but mostly people r getting rollback stats right??when the free trade and old wildy come back...and with the increase number of player,do u think there will be a mass ban on runescape??coz u see i m currently botting 3 mining(f2p) account....its totally useless if they jagroll(rollback) me as my main aim is to sell the cash or transfer the cash to my main*

It must be something else, because there are now stages in the macroing offence in the appeal section such as - Minor Macroing Ban, and Major Macroing Ban...

 

Depending on the account and what you are macroing imo.

If it is a main, you are most likely to get a rollback, cause Jagex will encourage you to keep playing and pay the membership fees.

If it was an account that was just farming gold, it will most likely get banned.

 

If you are a first time offender, your stats will be rolled back. Or, if it is not, you will get a ban.

 

i thought i read something where they said the new punishment is just 7 day ban for first time then 21 day then perm bann?

 

I've seen quite a few roll backs, and less bans. It seems they want to keep members paying a monthly fee, however they will ban you if they feel like it. I don't have solid statistics, but this is what I've gathered looking over several botting forums.

 

No. They had temp bans for a few weeks a while back, but they've returned to permanent bans again.

Usually a rollback and then a permanent ban if you continue botting.

Rollback or perm ban. Could be either, I assume it has to do with the intensity of the case.

 

First time offence, banned, not a roll back, sucks... Doesn't stop me though lol, just don't do it on your main...

 

I haven't seen anyone banned for quite some time, so I've just assumed they've changed their punishments for "Macroing Minor" for a Rollback instead of a 7/14 day ban and "Macroing Major" to a perm ban.

I don't know really, most people are getting rollbacks and not bans though.

 

Please take caution while botting on 3 accounts off one IP address, this could result in more than a Rollback or Perm ban. This could lead to IP ban meaning you will never be able to play again of your current laptop/computer. Jagex arent stupid, im sure they will have a system which can detect this. Please be cautious!

I've heard of more Two Week Bans and and Roll backs not that many permanent bans after Free Trade/ Wildy.

 

I've had 2 accounts in last 3 weeks get a 14 day ban and a stat roll back, no cash taken tho.
