1 lure 7 players banned

    1 lure 7 players banned
    Well me and 4 friends were luring at CW. We were on a dry run till we finally got a Santa/Full Bandos/ZGS kill. We split it 5 ways and I had put some gp on my zerker and 1def acct. I went to work and later my buddy called saying he got banned, i logged on and 3 of my accounts were banned.

    The reason was we received items from a hijacked account, which means it had to be the guy we lured. What should our appeals look like we have no idea what to say?

    Okay, i've had a similar situation happen to myself before, and this appeal worked brilliantly. I even got a personal reply from Mod Mark.

    I honestly, don't think there is anything you can do about a ban for Hijacking, as it's the most serious offense on Runescape.

    Kinda stupid if you got banned for luring something though...

    Hijacking man. Don't even send an appeal in yet. Wait a few weeks. I got banned for hijacking just because i xferred some shit from a friends account who didn't play anymore. They just auto deny. Also, the account you guys lured may have had gold on it that the person hacked. That zgs, etc. may have been stolen from another account and Jagex probably thought you guys were helping him. They're pretty stupid.

    So if I pk or stake somebody for bank loot which is actually from a hijacked account I can get banned like this? Or what

    Why can't anyone just play the game morally these days? Honestly, you screwed a kid over and took something that he surely spend a long time trying to gain. You are, in fact guilty. Don't sound so surprised.

    Basically, I think what happens is. Lets say player A hacked a few accounts the day before for like 300M. Player A stakes you in the dueling arena with that 300M he hacked. If you win it, then chances are Jagex somehow sees a conspiracy and next thing you know, both of you guys get banned. I've seen it happen a few times, happened with my account.

    It would be different if I was dm'ing the guy in wild. I could easily say I never met the guy and we were fighting in the wild, but since we were luring it makes the situation worse.

    Also 90% of rs doesn't play morally. If you wanna play morally head over to Hello Kitty Island Adventure....

    Not sure what a CW lure entails, but from what I know luring isn't against the rules? If so, you could say you convinced him to fight you or w/e and then killed him for his loot. That sucks though.
