.I don't know of any drug that makes you attack innocent people unprovoked. You may feel obligated to back this friend up because you have known him for awhile, but life is full of surprises. Not everyone is what they seem. Assuming what the news report says is true, he deserves what is coming to him. Lots of murderers regret their actions after it is done, does that not make them any less guilty? Don't stress out for other peoples' actions.

Bro im in the military too. So... yea.

Having a spiked drink doesnt cause someone to do that.
Also, my roomate and i have drunk together multiple times. Then when he went on TDY (a trip to indiana) he got drunk and stole a car and lead cops on a chase.

People change and act crazy when drunk.
It all comes down on him. Before you go out you should always have a plan. He clearly didnt plan very well, spiked drink or not. He should have had friends to get him.

Seeing as it sounds like they have hard evidence his drink was spiked. All you can do is hope for the best and hope he gets out on lesser-no charges.

Im sorry but beating a 67 year old woman, I think as a navy seal he should control his drinking. I myself am going into the armed forces and i know that i wont drink, drinking only causes bad crap to happen. My Cousin, Has done alot of crap,(Robbing Stores),(Threatening with knives),Etc., I do know what it is like to have a Friend or family member who goes to jail. My brother went to jail for something that he was innocent of(we were in a messed up state), but as for my cousin, he is not even sane anymore, it is truly sad to see all his talent in his art go to hell. My cousin could have been something of a great artist himself, relating to your friends dream or goal of being a Navy seal.So if you have not been ignorant as to reading my first post and your still reading, then I am sorry for you but your Friend needs to learn how to control his drinking..

Im no God and i dont judge any man, ive been in plenty of legal trouble myself and have no room to talk...but when u post something like this u HAVE to expect blunt comments. i understand the guy was ur friend but the bottom line is he could have killed someone. when he became a seal he stepped up and represented our country...he made a poor choice to drink and will have to deal with the consequences, drugged or not do you REALLY think it was a good idea for him to put himself in that situation in the 1st place? i know hes your friend but really...be honest with yourself. if his drink really was spiked and they have evidence taken from his hair (i think thats what it said?) however it should be a prettly clear-cut case and his innocence will be proven

oh also...even if they prove the GHB was in his system i seriously doubt he will get a slap on the wrist...a seal beating a 67 year old woman with a fucking pipe isnt really forgivable no matter what the situation and id say its quite possible he gets REDUCED charges but i really dont see him walking away untouched

I'm not a mod, but I'm reporting all the posts here that aren't directly related to the thread, and especially the abusive ones. You guys have no right giving abuse like this.

Show some respect in the Personal Support section. Dammit.

OT: Mate, your friend definitely won't be getting off with a slap on the wrist. His actions are his own, regardless of the fact that his drink was spiked. His sentence may be reduced if his victims can forgive him, and he can prove he was under influence of drugs.

Sorry to hear this though. :\
