New 'trusted' rank

Well, I haven't done too much research on this (so if it exists or something similar is out there, point it out) but I feel there needs to be a special rank in the markets for those who are actually "trusted." I understand there is currently a 'highly trusted' rank on Sythe (R2pleasant, for example) but that's not enough.

The best example I can give is with thread topics. Many put [trusted] in there topic when, in fact, they have only done a few trades or received a small amount of vouches. This is very misleading to newer players who are here to quickly buy something or sell their accounts etc. This leads to scamming of new players and, in the end, results in less members staying active on Sythe.

I think this can easily be implemented onto Sythe. The rank can be earned when certain quotas are met (very similar to becoming an OMM). For example, 50+ *good* vouches can earn this rank ("good" vouches will be decided upon by the ones who give out the rank). The inclusion of certain values (like $100 traded, $500 traded, etc w/ at least 20+ vouches or something) will also make the rank harder to earn.

Pros:
1.) Helps weed out scammers
2.) Helps new members trade successfully
3.) Rewards players for being trustworthy (rank = more customers)

Cons:
1.) May ward off the use of OMM's
2.) If rank is too easy to get, may result in higher monetary scams

its a great idea but the mods have enough to sort though as with most suggestions, and there would be so much confusion on what is a "good vouch"

 

I don't really like this...... Would end up with people who aren't even near "trusted" begging for the rank claiming they are. I could also see people abusing the rank in the future as well.

No support from me.
