iPhone App - Runescape High Scores

Not bad honestly, however I'd rather just go to the hiscores page on runescape via Safari rather than pay a dollar

 

Some people find it more useful than others.

 

When for the Cydia app?
And what's Cydia?

 

Unknown time frame. And Cydia is a app that runs on jailbroken devices to download apps that have been denied or that apple would not support on the app store.

 

Sounds like a good app, too bad it doesn't support 3.1.x.

So you've netted about $250 so far? That's good for a 3 day-old app.

 

I've made around $700, I had $600 in it and then hosting fees, so really only $100ish.

I plan to re-design the whole app and make it way more appealing, I'm currently working on a massive overhaul to the interface and what all the app does. People will enjoy the new version much better. I have listened to everyone and I see some don't need a high score look up, others commented on interface, etc, so I am going to revamp the whole app.

 

Why not just go on the runescape highscores and look ?

 

that's sick, i'll look into it on my iPhone, I love apps like this!

 

The app makes it simple to just look users up on your phone, you can always go to the website and look, but its a lot faster if your just trying to look up someone randomly by clicking a app on your phone and searching.

Some users use this as a way to check their bots when they are away from their computer, etc.


Other people have different reasons for using it. But like I said, I plan to revamp the whole app and not only make it a high scores, but also a Grand Exchange Lookup, XP Calculators, etc. And the layout of the whole thing will be strongly be improved and I think users will find the app more than useful in there everyday runescape'ing! ^_^

Looks like it has potential though.

 

I'm redesigning the user interface and adding comparison between two players and adding a world map. This will be added to the next update, as well as changing the name from Runescape High Scores to Runescape Utilities.

I am still programming the calculators , this might be in the new update, it just depends on how much coding is needed to do this. Will keep everyone updated.

That is good , but i think it only supports Iphone , Ipod Touch and Smartphones.

Will you add like an offline database, so you store the most recent hiscores of a player? Sometimes I like to know the exact XP I have when I'm calculating things on the move.

Will the World Map be offline also?

High Scores Offline: I will have to run some tests to see what I can do, I'm pretty sure I can do this but the username would have to be searched first, then stored in a database that would delete after like 24 hours or something. I will look into this. Thanks!

Aww thanks! Its not on Cydia just yet. And a free version that will have ads will be released. Hopefully you can use one or the other.
