Charge-backed - what do?

Okay, seriously..
TheGamingFrog - i sold him 80m via Paypal and he has tried claiming it back. I can provide proof he sent it and Inbox's and him even agreeing he bought it.

I'd like to know what I can do?
Can i just abandon the account? - Help me.

 

Did he/she not send it as a gift and write a note ?

 

I don't know - first payment, i want to get rid of the account... do they take money off my card if I can't pay it back?

 

Well check it first go on to payment details see if there is any fees
+ Check if he wrote a note saying its for virtual items or not.
Btw did he do a unauthorized payment ?

What do you mean by get rid of it?
You can't close the account until the case/dispute has been closed :\
If you want just delete your hotmail account then you wont get no emails from paypal.
Did you write your actual name/address/information on paypal?

 

So when the case is closed - he receives the money, I can delete it?

I just want to get rid of the account.. and get rid of all my details on it...
What can happen if I don't put the $80 back into the Paypal and pay the seller? Do they deduct from card? or mail me?

 

Once the case closes paypal will refund him and you will need to pay back paypal.
If you dont pay the $80 i think they will just keep emailing you sending you letters to your house etc..
just call them now and tell them that it was for virtual items and you already delivered the ingame money to him , It will help alot trust me

No they won't.
When i used to call them they NEVER asked for my age,They just ask for your information that you set on the account to make sure they are talking to the owner of the paypal account and no one else.
Just call them trust me it happened to alot of people and the dispute got closed this way

 

You should get a letter, it's happend to me before, They will Send you a letter, and you reply to if, with your proof.

 

P.s, If your using Paypal, Make them send it as a 'Gift', with a 'Note'

They might try to contact an adult. I'm not sure though. I think you've learned your lesson, use playerauctions or buy from legit users.

 

No they will not let you off , It dont matter if your under 18 or not.
They don't ask for your age so don't get that involved.
Just call them and inform them that it was for virtual items and you delivered them on the game, If after that they don't do anything tell them that you can't pay for it that you are still 14 and you are a student and don't work.

 

I have used PlayerAuction before - but even that requires me to be over the age of 18 - otherwise I can't buy over a certain amount.

I think I may just pay - tell my dad and, then, get my dad to create a new paypal, all that.
I can use him as my guard - but I do the deals.

 

Or do the simple thing and call paypal and tell them the situation lol
