    A bit of a dilemma
    right guys, basically im a 99 str pure pker with 60 atk 83 hp 80 range 31 prayer. and im not 100% sure weather to get 52 prayer or not.. im currently 76 combat and if i get to 52 prayer ill be 79 combat.. please help what shall i do? thanks.

    There's a plus.

    Most pures max out at 52 prayer anyway. So it's a good thing.

    Well, 3 combat levels isn't to bad, with 99 strength you're still hitting really high. Though I would get your ranged to 90+ for sure.

    Just adding, make sure that you quest the prayer, and don't just bury/altar bones.

    "Questing" the stats means doing quests in which the rewards are experience for that skill.
    The reasoning behind is that those quests are usually needed for low combat level pures or are prerequisites for better quests. For example, getting to experiments requires preist in peril and one other one... can't really remember atm.
    It's useful for zerkers to quest their defence, dragon pures to quest their attack (dscim) and all pures to quest their prayer.

    EDIT - if that's not clear... the quests give levels in which you don't want after you already get the level you need. Prayer needs to stay low, so imagine getting prayer at 52 (pure maxed) and then realizing you need to complete a quest for DT that raises it to 60.

    I had the same problem and couldn't figure out what to do. My pure has basically the same exact stats except for 90 range and 94 magic and I just went ahead and got smite

    Def do it, 3 combat levels doesn't really matter, unless staking, but still you wouldn't have pray to begin with in that case :p
