    Annoying Probability Question! Need Help Lol!

    Hi all,

    I have an annoying assignment due in 1 hour and 21 minutes, and I am stuck on the last question.

    Here it is:

    Eleven Somali pirates sail into an Australian port and get drunk on Foster beer.
    Upon returning to their ship they discover that the beer was so bad that all they can
    do is stumble into the first unoccupied cabin they randomly pick and crash for the
    night. Find the probabilities that
    (a) at least one sailor sleeps in his own cabin;
    (b) precisely one sailor sleeps in his own cabin;
    (c) exactly ten sailors sleep in their own cabins.

    I have established that C is impossible, so the probability is 0. A and B have my head spinning.

    A and B depend on how many cabins there are to chose from.

    Each pirate has 1, so assume there are 11 cabins.

    Well 11 pirates and 11 cabins so theres a 1/11 chance a pirate will sleep in there own cabin.

    If looking for a single probability following the first one you multiply them. I.E

    1/11
    1/11*11.
