How to gain confidence in Sythe? Be worthy?

Hello everyone, how are you? I'm new and wondering how to gain someone's trust? I want to start training my OSRS 07 account, my specialization in skills.

 

d2jsp.com is a good site to buy/sell account services . As theres a trust system thats directly tied to Your forum gold (FG) which is the websites currency, its very difficult to scam and not get banned quickly . Because of this You can trust 99.98% of the transactions in my experience . Maybe make an account there and check out the osrs sub

 

Everyone starts out untrustworthy, you just gotta be lucky with people who trust you enough and gain reputation from completing orders properly.

 

Gather some vouches. Do some jobs for cheap/free

Donate some money

Contribute by investing time/energy. So by being active in the server for instance/making suggestions, etc.

I just put in my d2jsp tag "All trades will be video recorded for buyer and sellers safety"
and I've done something like 1500 trades never dealt with a scammer

"Not at all true"? Like not even a little huh . Consider that d2jsp doesnt let you use the platform using a vpn. It doesnt just give you a "Trade with caution" , it wont let you sign in . Right there creates at least a slight edge at that platform being harder to scam on than this one .

 

So to elaborate on things a bit further which seems people have forgot about quite a bit. Trust is earned not just given, it's given over due time after you pay your dues so to speak.

Some of us have actually spent countless years to the point it almost seems irrelevant in what ways we have "built" this side of the community if you will, you got to think even myself i started servicing in 2012 as a fun sidegig hobby and still is, some have even started way before me and are still in the same boat as me. There are also people who have came along with their newly improved names and fancy set of workers who are able to do things more differently and/or quicker because a lot of us in first world countries also have to work full time which takes away the "it" appeal to many customers who want their stuff done within seconds of ordering. It's a LONG LONG process but at the end of the day, if you're not trying your hardest then that's where you fail at it.

I will say though, i did see someone saying about some sort of shitty communication or something they had with you a few weeks or so back. Things like this often stick around for a while and gives people an overall feel of you, just remember though you cannot please everyone, and in some cases it may even be worth working under a rs service if you're looking to expand your name into the business.

Just to touch base with what i mentioned above not being completely correct, as someone who plays with that side of the forums (thanks to @Tampons because he told me about the website a while back) it isn't quite "oh you have X-forum gold you're safe to trade now"

Not everyone uses the forum gold currency, and a lot like GP the currency also fluctuates based on the supply & demand. Their website can be a lot easier to navigate at times besides the search system which i haven't fully grasped at yet, but at the time each website also has it's pro and cons.

You will more often than not have people call you a "multi" (essentially a ban evader) and it has been seen many of times, unless you have someone who is a known identity to the forum (in which case, i was and was still called a multi, a scammer and so forth for no reason many times despite being proven wrong) otherwise you're going to get beyond nowhere which is an understatement.

 

Yes, unless you're dumb you would know how to read and i wouldn't have to explain simple things to you.

Being on a VPN vs not being on a VPN means nothing, i have been on the forum maybe 2 years now just a bit less and i have seen countless times people attacking newer/newish people based on them "being newer" than a let's say 2010 joined date. In fact, there has actually been someone who tried to make a scam report on me BECAUSE i was new/getting started up lol what a coincidence right?

I have made friends, and even lost friends on that forum in the brief time i have spent there so far, and depending how you choose to work with it depends what you will reap back in return. Regarding the FG side of things though, a lot of people actually just use gold because of the fluctuation as i mentioned in an above comment. And you do know i spend a lot of my time reading scam reports/ban appeals right? This goes to both this forum and that one also.

I guess you could say it really depends who you know and how you know, i mean even right now there are literally 2 threads out of the 10 you can have per page i think? Both with a "multi" or "scammer" being called out at random with 0 evidence besides the fact they are new.


Edit - Out of interest, how do YOU yourself Mr. 1500 expect newer people to be able to prove themselves of being "worthy" if you will, when people are not willing to actually roll the dice? If you look at someone like myself, again i have an more than generous vouch count to say the least with almost 0 effort on my end other than some spare time, i go elsewhere like that and it can actually be very difficult to get odd jobs because of some said people who would rather tarnish your name because you're not of an X-joined date.

With this joined date comment btw, i have seen people with maybe a year on me maybe less, ALSO joining in on the festivities of bullying and harassing other members, this includes on their private discord server which they claim is "for all d2j members" which seems a bit ironic - It's for "all" yet they select who is there so they can slander them.

 

Just keeping in mind @oldscho0l this is me generally speaking from experience on both sides and both forums, and somewhat knowing how both function. Of course your opinion and your experience can/will differ to mine, so it's always interesting to what you would think after reading my edit addon after all you said yourself, you're more established there.

Please also keep in mind, i have also been told "non d2j vouches mean nothing" so i assume that would include the same if let's say someone (not you yourself) jumped ship and wanted to open shop here, the same would also reflect?

Edit - as i say, it's more interesting to me than anything. It is nice to see someone on the other side of the page and all though so i'm more curious on how/where you stand with all these things after all we're all looking to do business in one form or another.

 

well losing friends would definitely be an issue since ur such a rude cock sucker n' all . But I guess doing 20 quests and training 100+ skills for someone in exchange for $20 would make you quite jaded in the long run unless you have vennies doing it for You and You just set up the transactions .

If Youre talking about d2jsp this holds zero merit . You cant just host a scammer report and provide no proof. You get nowhere...Youre not gonna be compensated or get away with anything without providing photo evidence on d2jsp

 

see this woulda been a more respectable approach if You originally replied like this I could at least respect Your opinion easier . That being said I dont deal with OSRS often so I imagine the scam rate is higher on there since its easier to just take OSRS GP and sell it and also in general theres more people who scam in regards to RS than a game that I woulda been playing like D2R . Either way I wish you both well and it was a suggestion off my experience . It couldnt hurt for him to at least create an account on d2jsp so in a couple years his account is no longer brand new and he can trade on there easier.

 

Sounds like you're someone familiar why does that not surprise me lol. I know with the forum it's against workers so as much as i'd like to entertain you on that one, your buddies/yourself already failed at that. You see the funny thing is on my end at least, my "workers" are UK/US based and don't use nor have any involvement with the forum, which is why i can speak from my own experience and what i witness because i wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else.

You can call it being a rude cock sucker all you want, but when you're spreading false information you will be called out for it or corrected on it. In fact mine was more based on questioning with clear sighted facts.

Funny you say that, someone (assuming this isn't actually you) tried that ol' trick and failed. It does seem like you are going to try just get this guy to join the forum as another target for your hate club.

I had a similar interaction with you as i did with a night walker guy who was an interesting study, and if you know of him/are not him then you will see what i mean and what i'm getting at. I could probably count on both my hands and fold them over the amount of people that would attack someone off here if they joined which is sad. Maybe it's just me, but it sort of seems like it's because people can/will give a more honest and approachable price because of where we do similar over here while there it's a bit of a different market/scene overall.

I have seen somewhere earlier today they expect like a certain post count or activity etc or something along those lines which was i guess understandable in some ways.

I am like you though, and will always try to encourage others to try new things or branch out, so good call there.
