FINAL STEP

I was on vacation in "city" "state" with my "relative: grandma, etc" and she sent me to the local gas station to get a 12 pack of pepsi. when i returned with the pack my "relative" went to open a bottle and she noticed a thick brown goo at the top of the bottle. She then pointed out that the bottles of soda were very expired, by about 5 months. This goo was visible at the top of all bottles, and all the bottles were expired. She threw away the bottles because tey were very gross.
Pepsi will e-mail you in a few days saying they have emailed you a coupon for a free 12 pack of pepsi. that should arrive in a week to 10 days
NOTE: i have done this many times, about 10 times and it has worked every time but once.

Make sure to change up the story a little or exaggerate and come up with a better "problem with product' than mine

Edit: I decided to try it with Coca-Cola UK as the Pepsi site is only available in the US/Canada. Waiting on a response.

 

I did this with Coke before, Also with Wonka and I got a bunch of free candy.

 

It works with condoms if you say they have a defect of some sort, what ever you make up really. They send you hundreds

I am surprised that a big company like Pepsi doens't require you to provide proof of purchase (usually a code on the product itself) when making a claim.

I am going to try this out before they close the loopholes.

This is also known as Social Engineering, not something you should experiment with, it can get problematic.

 

Although I love the idea this is technically scamming which isn't allowed here. Great post though!
