IS runescape testing me?

So I helped this guy out a few days back, and ever since that day

(none of this happened before, and it's all happening on my account where I helped him, no other accounts)

I have been pmed randomly by people I have never talked to, never traded with, and never even seen before.
Randomly asking me about rules, game questions, and other things.

IS rs testing me to be a mod or something? Because all this seems a little strange.

Turn your chat to "friends" so they don't talk to you. If random people are just asking you questions, I don't think it has anything to do with becoming a moderator. You don't become mod by just helping one guy out.

 

I don't think so, there was only a few people around, and no one has asked me for any money, its all about rules and stuff.

 

Coincidence. Jagex doesnt test you like this.

Jagex would'nt do that.
But still help them out and Jagex will see you have and they will see you are actually helpful.

 

i doubt its jagex but its always a possibility

 

its nothing about becoming a mod its probably noobs looking for cash.

 

Happened to me years ago shortly after P Mods were released.

I had a P Mod friend recommend me and all these random people started PM'ing me asking me stuff. I assumed it was Jagex so I acted all nice and junk answering their questions.

Didn't get mod though. What a waste of fake-nice.

 

Doesnt have to be related to being a mod to be nice. I usually talk to them and as soon as they ask for money I send them the f*** off message and block them
