Way to 99 str?

Which method do you think its the fastest to 99 str? I'm 2.2m away from 99 (level 97 atm).
I DON'T want to bot it, as its my 5 year old main and wouldn't like to get it banned for 99 str.
I have been thinking on gorillas with void, sara sword and turmoil, but I want to know if there is better xp .

There are probably better methods now, but what I did was:

I went to Dagannoths ( sea monsters )

You could do that, or even rock crabs and yaks.

You could try soulwars?

Or you could go to the Stronghold and I think it's level 2 or 3, you kill spiders.

You can AFK train easily as they attack you, just wear good armor.

If you're unaware where this is, I'm willing to draw up a map for you.

Does the spiders stop attacking after some time? I knew that ppl trained there, but whats the xp rate/hour? Because down there I wouldn't use turmoil because there are no near altars, and I wouldnt hit as high as I would do with it.
About soul wars, I'd do it if I wanted to bot, but I have been there and it gets really boring after some time. Thanks for posting!

Yes, they do stop attacking you after a while, but you just need to refresh the map and they will start attacking you again. I got my 99defence there, it was pretty easy!
No there isn't an altar down there.

 

Well, I guess I'll start packing up to go down there. Do you think that ss is better than korasi sword + defender?

 

SS is great for strength training.

I highly suggest decent armor too, this way you will make less trips and won't have to look as often.

Use a Varrock Tele Tab and the rest full of sharks/your choice of food.
I also suggest Super Str (4) pots, 3 of them to use to hit higher and gain more XP.

I can get over 60k exp/hr fighting Living Rock Creatures. You should try it out if your account has at least 60 defense. Also, slayer is a fantastic way to train because it gives a +15% bonus to attack and strength. If Rock Creatures is my slayer task, I get well over 75k exp/hr in just Strength.

 

What are for the requirements to get down there?
And does slay really gives 15% bonus to att and str just like that? Or do I need to wear the slayer helmet or something?

Yes, you need to wear the black mask/helmet for the slayer bonus. It's worth it, though. I can hit upwards of 680 when I'm on a Slayer task.

 

honestly, just get SS and turmoil and go to monkeys at ape atoll, use super pots, thats real good xp

 

If you want to lay back and chill, browse, text, watch tv, watch movies, play xbox/ps3, bandits are the way to go. I did this for my 99 att/99 str/99 def, my brother did the same.
Bring a saradomin arrow, bunyip or noted lobs with GP. Buy a bandit camp teleport, and you're good to go.
There is a general store right there, also, bring a Ring of life, incase you fall asleep. Happened to me a few times >_>

 

I did this before I found botting. It works well if you can find an open space. Also, I just brought a guthan's set and switched to it every few minutes. It saved a lot of hassle with buying/selling noted food when the bandits are attacking you.

 

Just go to bandits. I just watch vids the whole time and switch to rs every 5mins to make sure I don't log. It's good xp and easy to afk.

 

Well yeah I could go to bandits, but it is a popular spot for botters and rude ppl who won't change words. I guess I'll try that too anyway
