Am I botting correctly?

Hey guys. I know the title is deceiving, as there really is no correct way to bot. However, I'm working on 99 crafting which is fairly expensive and want to avoid a ban. I'm fairly new to the botting world, but how should I do it? I've been botting for around 13-14 hours atm. At 15 hours I think I'm going to play 1 hour legit on the account then here is where my question comes in. After playing 1 hour legit can I continue the bot? Or is it recommended that I keep it on a break for the night while I'm sleeping and resume botting in the morning? What do you guys typically do?

You should take a break for the night.

About your legit playing, make sure you don't just do the same thing your bot is doing. Do a quest every once in a while.

I see no point in all the caution unless people are randomly reporting you.

If you were autoing craft at, say, W2 GE nobody is going to report you lol.

EDIT: Before you ask about bot detection, that is BS. As long as you aren't failing randoms or you get reported/reported heaps, you aren't gonna get caught.

 

I would do quests once in a while also.

 

Botting in SW in a SW world so no randoms really just a bunch of other botters stacked on the bank.

 

I botted 99 crafting in Edge bank, just picked my home world and nothing happened....botted 15 + hours a day sometimes 24 hours straight.

( I did Glassblowing )

 

what i do = bot at night, during day, play legit, do things a bot cant do, pk, ect

 

Bumpity

 

Bot for your average daily play time.
Babysit in case the bot screws up or something.
Play legit inbetween.

That's all I can think of and most of it is unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend botting too many hours per day but a lot of people say they have and it's fine. I usually do 12 hours max just to be safe.

 

Honestly the play time doesn't have anything to do with your chances of getting banned. Jagex can't detect whether or not you have been playing 24/7 (obviously a bot). What gets accounts banned is when reports start piling up on an account + that account fails multiple randoms. If your confident people won't report you (empty locations), 24/7 is pretty safe. If you are babysitting your bot at all times you pretty much have no chance of getting banned assuming you are using a premium bot.

I've amassed over 1500 Skill levels botting, and I bot 24/7 unless the internet DCs, or other unexpected problems occur.

Honestly, don't bot in crowded reportable places.

Want to bot combat overnight? Fine, bot in a quiet place, with less exp/hr but at least no one will report you.
Want to bot a skill that you can stand near a bank at? Fine, bot @ the GE. Sure it may be less exp than Soul Wars, but at least you won't get reported.

The only thing I do legit is flipping while botting, so I think it's safe to say as long as you bot in safe places, and don't get reported, your fine.

 

IMO, it all depends what your using...

epicbot/RSbuddy/powerbot.. I'd say that you should only run like 12 hours a day..

I've been running my main at frosts 24/7 for the past 3 days.. I wen't from a 20M bank to a 130M bank..

(just bought turmoil, and OVLS.. that's why im so poor )
