Will My Staker Succeed?

I need your honest opinions to help me determine whether I need to to train my staker further, or whether it will do just fine as it is.

Combat level: 91

Attack: 80
Strength: 83
Defence: 76
Hitpoints: 80
Prayer: 1
Summoning: 1
Dungeoneering: 80 (nearly)

I plan on ONLY doing Rapier fights with specials and obstacles off.

I am going to have my Chaotic Rapier in a few hours here, and I need advice. I know generally a staker should have High attack, lower strength, and high defence, but will I do fine with my stats? Being I'll have a rapier at a moderately low combat, with 1 prayer and summ?

Get 92-95 att, and 95-99 def. Leave strength.

No, you just won't win as often. Maybe 50-60% of current if you have Rapier, and at the levels I suggested, if you stake right, 70-80%.

 

that's a lot more work than I anticipated having to do, but I'll do my best, thank you. All other opinions still wanted!

 

your strength is already to high, you will never be a really good staker to be honest

 

get 99 attack 99 defence and 99 hp and no more str

 

Dont take this advice imo, just do a few low stakes. Count up your wins and losses. Work out how your doing and then adapt from there.

 

i would stick with foxchui's advice on that. i had staker around that level and it was perfect won most fights.

 

People are idiots. They think that no arm "boxer" stats are the only stats you can have to make a successful staker. He said RAPIER smart guy.
Imo, your attack is perfect. Get 99 Str, 99 Def (i would have stayed at 60, or if you don't have that much ambition just get def to at least 85, str to 90+), and you'll own. If your def is too low, or your str is too low, you will just get torn apart by pures with Maxed str/hp. I'd suggest doing fights with armor on and CLS/CR.

 

let me give you some advice, its not your stats that will make you succeed its knowing who to stake and who not to stake with your stats...
any staker can be successful with any stats.

People telling you get high atk/def and low str are either telling you how to box stake or don't know how to rapier stake. For rapier staking, you want to make sure you hit high and hit every time, since with a weapon and no armor defense doesn't matter much.

I'd keep def/atk where they are, get 90 str and try from there. If you want to put in more time to train it, get higher atk/str.

Exactly what I said. But you'll need def too, or you'll get RAPED by pures (trust me I know). I would suggest doing armor on tbh with CLS/CR.

 

Would getting even stats work? i.e. 83-83-83?

 

You want high attack and str and some defense. If I was you I would leave your attack at 80, and get 99 str. At that point see how you do.

I am currently making a rapier pure, and I plan on going 80-80-40 for a while, and eventually 80-99-60. Perhaps max attack eventually.

 

So My stats should be alright for Rapier boxing only ?

 

u should get 95 attack 99def and 99hp and ur set with that rapier

 

your staker may succeed but your done on sythe see ya don't vade and this should be in minigame/ pking section
