Good read. I have experienced my share of botting and i'd add the following:
Don't bot with no gear on
Avoid world 100-172 as many bots go to these worlds and are targeted by bot hunters.

 

You made a typo right after the introduction heading.

 

I have to disagree, I didn't know some of the things about botting because I do not bot but this guide has enlightened me a couple of things. Thank you.

Although some facts are flawed, nonetheless most of it is legit.

I don't enter my account details in the RSBot client for personal and account security.

Here's a tip that most people should know:

Places such as Soul Wars do not give you random events.

Which is why you always see people auto-alching there.

Never heard about the HTTP header information.

Although you shouldn't worry about that if you're simply using RSBot client.
