Powerbot hacked?

999999 threads on powerbot about a hijacking of their systems, what is going on lmao?

And some mod went insane, scammed over 2bil, and posted viruses everyone lmao.
Name of mod is Beaker.

 

If this is true then I am not surprised one bit. Ever since the first incident of the powerbot hacking I have not touched their website or program. Rsbuddy is the new place to go for botting. It is safe and tons of scripts to choose from.

Did they? Ok, I don't care, I've left them now. RSbuddy ftw, I used one of their Soul Wars scripts, it went on for the entire night and still going.

 

I'd use RSBuddy, but I spent 10$ on that idungeon script

But yea, I warned them about the first hacker guy, Arbiter, but instead, they banned me lol.
So hence why I migrated here

Everyone who KEPT using them after the last hacking had it coming to them.

I soon went to RSbuddy because rsbot is a cunt to add scripts to, rsbuddy is much better.

 

Only use powerbot for kiko's script, i dont leave my pin on the auto log as it doesnt need to access my bank.

Personally use Rsbots.net an RSbuddy always for everything else . Not surprised even just reading through the topics you can tell its a ses pool of scammers

EDIT: which files were infected? as i only downloaded the client 2.42 and kikos bot (but kikos bot was from shadowscripting.org) , just completed a scan with malwarebytes in safemode an nothing came up.. hope im all good haha.

So anyone that downloaded RsBot 4.0 (LOL it isnt even up to 3.0 yet..) is infected from what i have gathered, if you did get malwarebytes apparently it finds it in safe mode.

 

It's idiotic to use PowerBot since the mass account hijacking.

I'm pretty sure it's if you clicked links, and not the client.

 

The only rsbot script I use is Fallen's superheater, because it out performs any other free script. When rsbot got updated to 2.41, a lot of scripts stopped working. People were speculating in forums, so I ran a virus check. It came back clean, I erased 2.41 and kept using 2.39. Now it's 2.42 from what I've heard, my 2.39 now doesn't work... And from what I've been hearing I guess I shouldn't update.

Anyone know how I can keep using fallens superheater without rsbot?

EDIT: Was talking in some IRC's... Found out that Beaker either went rogue or his account was compromised, either way if you updated your client from a previous client you are ok. If you downloaded any new client off the website, you're fucked. The download link that is currently on powerbot forums is chock full of keyloggers and viruses. Do not login to runescape if you download any new clients, run virus checks immediately.

 

Beaker went rough and changed all the download links on the website. It's not an hack, just an idiot mod who decided to go ape shit.

Don't download for now and you will be safe. If you already downloaded that 4.0 version restart your computer on safe mode and scan with MalwareBytes.

It also exists on RSBuddy and it's just as good.

 

I only use rsbot for iDung and I wouldn't be surprised if it was hacked.

Off topic: They have like 6 ads at the top of their page. Kinda sell outs.

 

The funny thing is there is hardly any outrage about it on Powerbot forums. No admins giving support to members and not many members complaining. If you read the Powerbot forum, you wouldn't know this was going on.

 

Quick question with me having powerbot download, I'm still safe with all that shit going on right? And no my password isn't in the account manager. Anyways I'm deleting it, I never use it.
