Reason I'm posting this is because there's so much animosity between atheists & theists and I dream of a world were atheists and theists can live in peace and accept each other's differences.

If you've read books on traditional religions that use meditation it is accepted that "God is in the breath".

 

You call it god, I call it the fear of unknowing people can't expect the fact of the unknown so they call it an act of god, god did it. All lies if you ask me, I see the more logical side of things than anything.

 

Show me actually proof he exists; no proof? No god then!

 

I'm not here to show anyone proof... otherwise I'd have posted this in SFA. I'm just here to say I don't see why Atheists call all religion harmful and destructive when some faith can actually be useful & you shouldn't judge us over what we believe, because it's just information.

Just information? You're beliefs are interpretations of information you receive. All religions state that your beliefs and actions define you. So yes, you will be judge as all others are for their beliefs and more. Its reality. And reality it is, theres no solid proof for God.

The only stance religions take is that God defies all logic so we can't comprehend him. Religions make attempts to prove his existence that include logic yet start going off on why we can't understand, we just have to believe. Thats all it is, a blind belief in a magical presence that can reward or punish you. Oh and my favorite, God loves you, but he'll send you to hell.

 

Beliefs are what makes religion. Therefore, everyone has different beliefs. No one can prove that he's real, no one can't prove he's real.

No one can prove he's real, with an exception of himself.

 

Because hes just an idea or belief. Simple as that.

 

Look into astrology, if you take the time to actually study it you'd have to be mighty ignorant to ignore the tendancy's between people's zodiac & their personality traits.

Also if you have the time/date of birth you can get a really personalized birth chart that's not vague at all very straightforward and truthful.

This is because there are tendancies created by the planets moving around us. Also an amazing meditation is the Kundalini (sanskrit for coiled) meditation which focuses on each of the seven chakras, & will make you feel so good.

I don't get what you don't understand...he's a belief. You can't prove he's real, no matter what kind of stuff say. You're basically trying to back up your statement with useless bullshit. You can't, and you won't ever prove he's real.

Regardless of your way of life, I'm not the one to judge. Your way of life is basically a religion form, because you have beliefs, but doesn't everyone?

 

I'm not trying to prove he's real. My way of life is not a religion it's quite different because we're not trying to recruit followers & there is no set of beliefs that you have to agree with to call yourself Rasta.

I'm the type of person who would leave everything he thought to be true behind for something else that made more sense to me, even atheism (I was once atheist)... & this is just what I have found throughout my life experiences.

 

I am personally an Athiest, and I don't care what Religion people are, as long as they aren't trying to force it upon others.

 

Awesome, I don't mind that type of atheist... that's totally a cool way to be. One of the most intelligent people I know is an atheist and he gave the most amazing explanation of the big bang I've ever heard from someone it was really epic. ) I was high on LSD so he got really into his explanation and it's a memory I will forever remember and cherish.

we should support white supremacy groups because belonging to those groups is a great way to build friendships.

 

If look into astrology, you'd know there are way too many inaccuracies. Many scientist see astrology as bullshit and some say its just not accurate enough.

Again you're going into beliefs. (except Astrology which still has barely any evidence to hold its research true).

they may have known about it, & not stopped it... but they didn't "pull it".
